Bituli and Ignont will just need to compete. Taking up coaching time? That is just about as asinine as it gets.

Sorry for offending you, Mr. Jumper.

I'd just rather see our LBs of the future not lose any reps to a RS Sr walk on due to seniority.

Will be good to have him for depth and special teams an extra season though.

No one is saying that Jumper is the best talent we have or that he should start above better players. But if last year didnt prove that quality depth matters I dont know what else will. Also, Jumper unquestionably improved by a LOT from when he started. So much so that I think he could legitimately be considered the equivalent of a 2-3* recruit. Is that world beating? no. But its better than a 4* that poisons the locker room.

Worthy of the F off button. Kid plays with more heart than half the team. If Hurd had had his heart, we may have beaten Bama once. We would have been 11-2 at the very least reg season.

agreed. he's not going to win any defensive players of the year awards, but he definitely out performed my expectations as last year went a long, he deserves credit for putting in the work, and improving. and he made some pretty big time plays, especially late in the season, and even in the FL game, he had two huge plays in the 2nd half of that game.

in a position where we're already thin, it's not even debatable that having him in the rotation helps.:thumbsup:

I praised the kids heart in an earlier post. Not sure if you saw it. I'm thankful for what the kid has given to program.

I just don't want Ignont/Bituli's development to be hindered because of his presence in 2018.

It would help rather than hinder younger players to have a teammate around with that much experience.

Phear the angry ginger!! Phear him!!

Good for Colton. After all the bashing and moaning all the kid did was put his nose down on the grind stone and got better each week. And he finished that off with a great bowl game.

Happy for the kid. And I hope the Rock puts about 20 lbs on him and makes him quicker and stronger.
