So today while I was working, I'm just thinking about everything that happened the past couple weeks and I realized that we are in a age of media click bait and awful journalism.
I mean it was about as bad as it gets when it came to our coaching hire. Literally false or inaccurate report after inaccurate report. We hired four coaches I'm pretty sure according to multiple different sporting outlets and offered Jon Gruden $10 mil a year, while he was out searching for a coaching staff!? What in the actual hell is going on with the media??!
Gruden trolled the fanbase for fun and money and that's ****ty to do but whatever. What is funny is Jimmy Hyams and the Jeff Brohm debacle. I don't care for Jimmy, he's an idiot and I'm glad he made himself look like an ass.
That being said, why has it gotten to this point? Is it people searching for just clicks = money or are we just at a point in time where people say whatever will get them attention and throw sh** at a wall and see what sticks?
When something was reported way back when, it meant something (except for AL Gore, NBC really blew their load on that one lol).
