I don't like how the wr. Stance is wouldn't that slow them down comming off the line/)?
Dobbs and Worley will both be significantly more experienced next yr than they were this past August. Yet if Ferguson or Peterman should beat them out, then, wow, more power to them. It will all be sorted out by work ethic and coaches' judgment. And they should have a better receiving corps and more time to spend with them.
Talent yes.....experience.....uh no! Unfortunately experience goes a LONG way in the SEC. I'm just saying it's important to NOT set expectations too high in their first year. SEC secondaries can be brutal. It's a lot to ask of a true freshman to come in and beat press coverage against SEC corners. Give them a year in the program and weight room before we expect greatness.
Blah blah baklava.....dobbs was a true freshman thrown to the wolfes against the best teams. Worley was a junior still learning how not to throw into the dirt....

Of the new WRs...I look for Pearson to have the most production simply based on experience. I look for Malone to come on by mid year, but there's going to be growing pains for sure.Quite true. Marquez North posted numbers that were good enough to earn third-team Athlon Sports Freshman All-American status, as well as SEC All-Freshman accolades and selection to the College Football News and 247 Sports All-Freshman Teams. For most receivers, however, those numbers would be rather pedestrian, thus underscoring your point about the learning curve associated with playing wide receiver as a true freshman in the SEC. Nevertheless, North's 496 yards and 38 receptions are 3rd and 2nd best, respectively, among freshmen wide receivers in Tennessee history (North, Sutton: Athlon Freshman All-Americans - UTSPORTS.COM - University of Tennessee Athletics). As impressive as Josh Malone is, it would be unwise to expect him to drastically exceed North's numbers this season, particularly with North returning and Pearson coming in as part of this class as well.
I agree. Fortunately, Josh is as polished a receiver at this stage of his career as you could hope to find and he will not have to shoulder the load, with North and Pearson in the stable as well.
