Josh is not the guy

I really want a realistic list of who people want. I don’t think anyone actually has anyone realistic. At all
I see nobody has responded to this. It figures. The oh fire Heupel now crowd has no clue. They think you can just get any big time coach you want. If that were the case why hasn’t UF gotten a big time coach?

They aren’t thinking clearly. What big time coach is gonna come to a program where you get fired after averaging 10 wins a year?

Stop with the facts.
If they actually said I want to hire John Sumrall or Kenny Dillingham or someone, fine that’s your opinion. But I don’t see anyone out there that’s better than what we have overall, and I don’t see anyone giving any names bc they don’t have realistic ones .
This season has been very frustrating at times, no doubt about it, but the one thing that no one has me mentioned is that at no point during our losses has anyone quit . We’ve fought the entire game. That has to count for something in terms of the culture of the locker room and how the players feel about their coaches.

The thing is, Heupel likely doesn't see a 2 year stretch with an easier schedule than he has this season and last. I just don't see him improving the program if he doesn't make major changes this offseason.
People are going to have to adjust expectations going to a 9 game league schedule. That goes for everyone in the SEC. It’s going to be brutal.

He’s the best we can do right now. There’s no Nick Saban available. Just got to ride with him. If he goes 7-5 his seat will be really warm.

And with the expansion to 16 in the playoff, 9-3 will get you in

10-2 SEC champions are going to be more common than 12-0 SEC champions

You do realize we lost tonight right? At home? To a team ranked behind us?
...to a team with more composite talent. Against a Tennessee team completely decimated on defensive players. With a couple of unfortunate plays (one INT was on Joey, the other was on the tight end). Poor rush blocking led to the fumble and terrible tackling. The team did not execute well. And except for the first half of one ballgame (tonight), the defense has been awful all year.

You do realize Georgia almost got beat by an unraked Florida team. You do realize #9 Vanderbilt was beat by a lesser ranked Texas. NIL has changed college football. These schools firing coaches are dellusional. Name ONE coach available that can do better at LSU, Florida, Arkansas. There are none. It's any given Saturday.

Still didn't answer my question...who would you rather have instead of Josh Heupel? Anyone calling for Heupel's firing is slap delusional and these posts are idiotic.

We have the 8th best win percentage in the country since Heupel got here . Did you have those expectations for him when he was hired or did he create the expectations over the course of the last 4 and a half years? Is that mediocre?
There isn’t a single poster in this board, myself included, that foresaw Heupel doing what he has done. Heck I thought we cheated out when White hired him. Look this was a bad loss. And usually after a bad loss people are emotional and overreacting.

Say I'm overreacting all you want. He does not get our players ready to play in the critical games. He is not a horrible coach, but he will not win a Championship at UT. If you're okay with that fine, I'm personally not. Flame me all you want for this take, I've seen enough. Kirby is out here and his players win games that they play like trash in, ours play well and dominate and still lose, and lose because of stupid mistakes, dropped passes, bad playing calling on both D and O, and poor overall preparation and coaching.
I’m overreacting all you want.
