Could go two ways: Too big of a job with pre-established expectations from his predecessor (doubtful) or we have a more traditional prototype LONG TERM success that doesn’t inspire programs like Arkansas and LSU to expect him to pine for an opening. Love this journey. Thank you Dan for the right hire despite our noise (again).

The vibe of the program shouldn’t change at all, now we get to see if he can manage a game and a roster.
I’ve been completely out of the loop other than knowing Josh got the job, any word on assistants?
Is Frank staying, is the current staff staying?

Apparently Price said everyone is staying, including Q

I don’t check with VQ anymore. Another poster said they indicated he’d stick for two more before possible retirement.

I was originally thinking Kirby might take that role, but yeah you’re probably right. I wonder if Kirby might wanna take over Frank’s role when he retires, preacherman of course would know all about that so I’m just guessing. Kirby is still really young and has a lot of time to develop his coaching skills even further.

Not sure what “our” means - you don’t speak for any Volunteer fan than yourself.

The right and easy hire was Elander. Now everyone will see whether he can get it done. He has to be himself and he is a heck of a recruiter and great hitting coach.

Go Volunteers.
