Josh Dobbs visiting the Steelers today

Any of them start?
Foster has started for several years, but not sure how many starts he got last year. McCullers, I have seen him in on certain situations, but I can't be sure how many starts he got. Not one of my favorite teams. Hunter just got there.

I think the Steelers or Cardinals are the best fit for Dobbs but I didn't even think about Saints thats interesting. Brees on last few years, plus Domes play in Dobbs favor too.

No way Dobbs goes to saints. If he does he'll be 3rd /4th stringer. Chase Daniels and another QB are on roster. Daniels is a back up lifer

Dobbs would need to improve to be anywhere near McNabb. That completion % statistic is meaningless without detail. McNabb was throwing the ball downfield far more than Dobbs

Dobbs was one of the best deep ball throwers in college football last year.

Once again the numbers simply don't support your argument.

back on topic........i think the STeelers are a great situation for Dobbs. you got Ben there, probably another year or 2...good O line. good WR's. Good Rb, solid organization.

that's the kind of place he could do well. i'm a little bias...of course, i'd say the same thing if the Panthers got him. and i think, really, that would be a better fit given the offense we run, and having the opportunity to work behind Cam....

Can you believe this cat? It's been 3 years now of reading his ish and I'm still in disbelief of most of it. His "evaluations".....lol!

You might get less ridicule if the "Pimp my Ride" guys show up at your house, and you give them the keys to a 1985 Yugo.

Looks like Josh is also visiting with the Kansas City Chiefs. http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2017/...urth-known-qb-to-visit-the-kansas-city-chiefs

Another good situation for him. Kansas City has a playoff caliber roster. And Andy Ried is a QB guru of a head coach. Plus Alex Smith is erratic enough to give Dobbs a chance to play early if he struggles or gets hurt like he did in 2013 when Kaepernick took the starting job in San Francisco from him.

Go look them up yourself. They have been posed several times on this site and twitter.

I have looked them up. That's how I know you're wrong. I just wanted to see if you'd actually looked at them or if you were further pulling stuff out of your rectum. Of course, it was the latter.

Edit: Another word of advice to go along with "When looking to support your position, don't refer to someone whom you'd previously called 'an idiot'"...

In the age of the internet, it's pretty easy to find any stat or figure that you want. If you have to pull the "you look it up" card, then the stats you're referencing probably don't say what you claim they say.

Interesting you should mention Andy Reid, because Josh Dobbs' combine results compare favorably to Donovan McNabb's:

- 6'2, 223 lbs (McNabb) v. 6'3, 216 lbs (Dobbs)
- 4.64 40-yard times (both)
- 33" vertical jumps (both)
- 9'9" broad (McNabb) v. 10'2" broad (Dobbs)
- 7.30 3-cone (McNabb) v. 6.75 3-cone (Dobbs)

Their college senior-year passing stats are also very similar:
- 62.5% (McNabb) v. 63.0% (Dobbs)
- 194 yds/game (McNabb) v. 226 yds/game (Dobbs)
- 22 pass TDs (McNabb) v. 27 pass TDs (Dobbs)
- 5 INTs (McNabb) v. 12 INTs (Dobbs)

McNabb thrived in a West Coast NFL offense despite operating a triple-option attack in college; why can't Dobbs do the same from a spread-option offense?

Good find. And McNabb was drafted 2nd overall in 1999. Just goes to show Dobbs going in the 2nd round would be great value.

I could see Dobbs having a similar career to McNabb who had a borderline Hall of Fame career.
