Tomlin is a great talent evaluator. Once Dobbs gets some practice snaps in, Tomlin will quickly realize Dobbs should start over Ben. Obviously.

You can't always get what you want.

But the situation is ideal.

This is the best place for him to develop into a SUPERSTAR.

I don't think anybody knows for sure, but he just got put in an ideal situation for him. They aren't looking for a "right now" starter or savior. They are looking for a guy who can develop into a starter in 2-3 years, which is what Dobbs needs.

The Steelers also are not a pass happy team. They are going to run it and throw it, and play good defense. Makes it a lot easier for a young QB to be successful.

I just don't see him improving his pocket instincts enough. That's something you have or you don't.

Even so, UT has lost a lot of high character young men in this draft. Good for them. But, some new strong leaders will need to step up.
