There's a difference between a fan of the team and criticizing your own successful QB vs an outsider criticing the QB of an opposing team. If we were Clemson fans, your counter would be legit. But we're not Clemson fans. We're Vols fans. So its natural for us as opposing fans to be critical of other teams players. And its natural for us to be defensive about our own players.
The point I was making about black QBs being unfairly criticizes is mainly with regard to that teams own fans criticizing him unfairly when he is very successful.
If you noticed I never got on someone like bamawriter for criticizing Dobbs. I would argue and disagree with him. But I always understood that as a non-Vol fan he would be highly critical of Josh.
What I never understood was Dobbs own fans attacking him eventhough he was the 2nd best QB in school history.

or... We can just be honest and objective about our criticisms.
Josh dobbs was a very good college qb. He never had the accuracy or instincts to put the ball where it needed to be on a consistent basis in games. He struggled with it his whole career. He went to camps and specialists of every sort trying to improve it.
There is a trait that some qb's have that allow them to drop a pass in to a receiver like dormady did to wolf the other day. It isn't a "racial" trait. It is just a trait. Some guys have it. Some can develop it. Some simply can't do it.
You were wrong about dobbs during the before last season... He was what we told you he would be. You've been wrong consistently when comparing him to other qb's.
You claim that you "know" football. Truth is you're one of the least knowledgeable people who posts regularly on this site.

A couple of draft day predictions:
(1) LB Jarrad Davis goes 15th overall.
(2) WR Corey Davis goes 17th overall to someone other than the Redskins (they trade the pick).
(3) QB Josh Dobbs still goes 38th overall to the Chargers.
Save this post fellas.
i know, but my first prediction was that no way a qb is picked at #2, and that there's no way two qbs would go in the top 10.
0-2, tell him what he's won!!lol:
when they did it, i laughed so hard, i spit coke out of my mouth. To be fair to you Jake, it was insanely idiotic for the Bears to move up to get an unproven Trubisky at #2....nobody saw that coming because it made no sense.
