You don't see the vascularity in that right arm?
That's a shredded look a body builder would be proud of. And Dobbs is at a rested position. Plus he probably didn't just lift.
I'm not into lifting and dieting like I was back in the day, but I do remember how hard it was to get to the level of vascularity Dobbs has going for him right now. First of all, I only got close to that level after a lift and when I was flexing. So the fact Dobbs probably didn't just lift and is in a rested position makes it all the more impressive.
I'm pretty confident that Dobbs will be the most athletic QB in the NFL (outside of Lamar Jackson) next season. Physically he looks in ELITE shape. I can tell he's been working hard in the weight room this off-season in term of adding lean muscle mass.
There isn't another QB in the NFL in as good a shape as Josh Dobbs right now.
I'm pretty sure TD's point was that looking at somebody's arm vascularity and extrapolating that into wild predictions for success is patently absurd. Let's say Dobbs really is in great shape. Hey, that's good. (No really, it is) Having said that great arm vascularity and great QB play are two things that have almost nothing in common. A stroll through the NFL's all time passing leaders list isn't exactly a who's who of guys that could pass for body builders.
