I don’t know if he has or not, but he does look taller than he looked in high school.I don't doubt Boo Carter's skill or will to win. But I do doubt whether he is bulked up enough yet for a full season of SEC hitting.
We'll just have to watch and see how this plays out. Every season is a movie being made in real time, without a script.
Yeah but there's a lot of depth to a position where there's no "we can't afford to lose this guy".This is not ideal. 3 days into practice and we lost a starter at the position group were most concerned about. Looks like Boo Carter will get a chance to be That Dude.
And what about the other teams ??Christ. Not even in full pads yet and already an injury. How does this **** happen??
Look, I KNOW it was a totally different level of play, but I played football from pee wee all the way through high school and I can't recall seeing a single season ending injury happen to anybody during practice. It seems like we are good for at least one of these every damn fall camp!
God's Will?Of course not. But it does make you wonder, why these types of injuries are so common. I can't help but wonder if all of the off-season training players do now puts undo stress on their joints that can actually weaken those areas.
