It was hard to recognize the accuracy because it is probably the only accurate thing Steve has said in this thread.

Wow...i forgot about Volnation's 100% accuracy policy. Excuse me for starting the only off season thread on this website that doesn't consist of pipe deams of the 2014 football season and includes actual news about things that are actually happening. Not how 2014 is Tennessee footballs year to return to prominance. But your right...I shouldn't post unless I'm 100% sure everything I say is accurate. Forget about using forums to have open discussions. NO NO, this is for facts only!!! Get off my thread homie.

And yes, i was wrong. Exum worked out for 3 teams. Here's your link. It's 100% the truth.

If you can do it in college. You can do it the pros. Your Kensucky bias is showing. Or lack of hoops knowledge.

Because he has an opinion? He may succeed. He may fail. But questioning somebodies opinion is idiotic.

I think he is saying "physically," not succeed. Chris Wallace basically said the same thing- that if Stokes can dominate the boards and be physical in college, then he can be very productive doing it in the NBA.

Dark gable was talking about Randle not stokes and physically doesn't work either bc in the nba guys are stronger faster and taller..

Thank God someone brought this up! Plenty of great college players don't accomplish anything in the pros. I don't think Randle is a bust though

I think randle will be a good player too but their are no guarantees.

Didn't realize he was talking about Randle. But if you are physically dominant in college and physically ahead of the rest of your competition, then you have a good chance of holding your own at the next level. Of course, it's not guaranteed. But Chris Wallace has scouted players for a long time (he started Blue Ribbon), and I heard him say some good things about Jarnell and how his physical play translates to the NBA.

A lot of people think that. And no I'm not wasting my time find a link. I'll just say it's a common comment that I've heard.

No it isnt. Stop lying. Not one reputable person worth anything is calling Randle a bust except Vol fans.

Jarnell will be fine in the pros especially in the M. I was referring to the comment that Randall would be a bust simply because he went to Kensucky. He had nothing else to validate his opinion.

No absolutely not, that's not what I'm saying. This kid didn't go on any workouts and hasn't played in almost a year outside of personal training. Anyone can put together a youtube highlight mix and look like the next MJ from across the pond. Some of these Euro's are holding themselves out of the true competiton and are getting picked higher than guys that have been under the microscope. That kid in Brazil got picked up in the first round and no one even knew who he was over dozens of kids that have laid it all on the line in the public eye. Lebron was 10000% in the public eye when he came out.

Exum is the real deal..He played in the '13 FIBA U19, averaging 18 pts and 4 assists while leading Australia to a surprising 4th (with Marcus Smart, Aaron Gordon and Dario Saric there too)..He also played in last years Nike Hoops Summit against Parker, Randle and Gordon, scoring 16 pts in just 22 minutes..The year before that he stood out in the Adidas Nations Tournament against top level talent..I wouldn't call that holding out from true competition..Those tournaments definitely put him under a huge miroscope

His dad is Cecil Exum, who played at NC under Dean Smith and was teammates with the likes of Michael Jordan and James Worthy, before playing pro ball in Australia..At 6'6" with a 6'10" wingspan as a pointguard, Dante' he has the chance to be truly awesome..

He didn't just put together a youtube highlight video..The public eye can be in many places, not just NCAA and HS games in America..:twocents:

P.S.- HUGE Congrats to VFL Jordan and VFL Jarnell..Hopefully this draft is just the start of tremendous careers for both!!

It depends on what u consider a bust....there are some that think he will be a marginal player and not a star player....personally I like randle as a player but I can see why some have doubts.
