Joey just set the school record for most 40+ point games to start a season. If that isn't operating the offense at the highest level nothing is.No, Hooker executed the offense at a very high level and Joey isn’t quite there yet. No knock on him, I just think Hooker had the advantage of multiple years here and maybe a better set of WR in Bru, Hyatt and Tillman.
I already looked it up. They are right with each other. JA played the tougher schedule, has more passing yards, passing TD's, and the same rushing TD's thru 5 games. Hooker had a higher completion % but JA had a higher drop rate so its not really a huge difference. Hooker has the edge on the int's but again JA had 4 bounce off his WR's.Can someone put up both QB’s stats after 5 games?
I think neither guy was very accurate before they got to Knoxville. There is something about guys running wide open that boosts that % lol. If JA didnt have so many drops it would be close to evenJoey runs the offense similar to how Hooker did. We seem to fly down the field like we did when he was here. With that being said, Hooker is a better runner. And I think less turnover prone. Probably more accurate as well.
