JG vs Harrison Bailey

You lose any and all credibility as most coaching staffs do not have any packages set up for their 3rd string QB. You've right about Chaney mixing it up but he more than likely is dialing up plays for JG, Chandler, WoodyA, Gray and Q. They are working on BM not throwing the ball to the other team is the only package he's working on.
Also you may want to keep up with interviews and not “pick and choose” what you want to believe. Yes Pruitt said they both need to stop throwing the ball to the other team but shortly thereafter Weinke did an interview and was quoted saying they haven’t thrown many. You’d be naïve to believe JG hasn’t thrown any as well........ funny how it’s not talked about about though huh?

We’re clearly talking about qbs. Not gutsy play calls
You were clearly referencing STYLES OF PLAY and Pruitt possibly not going with Maurer because he’s conservative. Keep up with yourself.
But he don’t like taking chances. I think we can agree on that.

Yes Butchna..... if you read the conversation you’ll see we were talking qbs. Not risky play calls. I think it’s clear that Pruitt doesn’t like his QUARTERBACKS taking chances. What he does with his PLAY CALLS is another conversation. So to your point......IM keeping up just fine. You should join us.

So playcalls have nothing to do with QB’s? Teach us to more football!

I shouldn’t have to explain the difference in a qb taking chances as a style of play vs a coach making a risky play call to try and provide a spark or because he’s down in a game. If you don’t understand the difference then it’s not up to me to enlighten you.

Pruitt won’t play a QB because he takes chances makes sense if Pruitt doesn’t...but he does. Hold your ENLIGHTENMENT...I ain’t buying!

I mean he is a professional quarterback consultant.
Careful K town. You’ve been in some pretty heated debates with your stats and way of thinking. Not once have I attacked you or made a smug remark to you within those debates. Doesn’t mean I’ve always agreed. Butchna has a reputation for being the guy that cherry picks arguments with those he disagrees with. Be a leader, not a follower.

Bailey was only 17-35 last night and threw an interception, in a HIGH SCHOOL GAME. You guys all know what this means, right? He must not be able to read a defense, he surely locks in on one receiver and holds the ball too long....

The young man does seem calm when all about him is chaos.....A grand attribute to possess...

He does lock on Gilbert, but they used Gilbert as a decoy to throw the winning pass to the other kid...It would be so nice if Gilbert came along with Harrison.....

I was being facetious what with the blue font and all. Was aimed at the JG bashers.

I was really impressed with this guy again last night. He is a WINNER!! He had several dropped passes but just kept his cool. When the team needed a touchdown in the last minute to win, he delivered! He is going to be a GREAT QB!

False. JG threw 80 times on 1st down, 78 times on 2nd down, and 82 times on 3rd down.

Also false. But you only missed it by 2.499995 seconds.... or for those keeping score 99.9998% wrong.

Yes he has. His decision making has been too slow. You can find your own reason why but his two OC's didn't allow him to make and throw hot reads. He did not make good pre-snap reads.

He HAS proven that when he knows what to do and has the time... he's a very accurate passer with a strong arm. Hopefully Chaney and Weinke have built on that foundation because he has shown the physical talent to be a really good QB.
Well now that I’ve had a chance to evaluate jg this year even though it is still early I’ll go ahead and eat crow. Jg will not get the job done here at UT. I admit I was completely wrong about him

Kudos to you for being man enough to admit you were wrong. There are only a few of us here that have done that. Most will deny until they can't... then change their screen name to escape.
