If he transferred and was able to play immediately he’d probably be playing in a New Year’s Day bowl. That’s the state of the Tennessee program. It’s less the players and more the guys pulling the strings.

The way JG performed in the fourth quarter against Georgia State is all you ever need to know about him. That's him. Indecisive, taking sacks, not making plays, looking lost, falling down, almost like be wasn't trying.

That's JG. Some people are winners that just win. Some arent.

Even the former crackhead in the announcers booth was hard on JG. He kept wondering why the guy was just not passing to people who were wide open. Said he is basically shellshocked.

JG is over 70% of the reason of the reason we lost this football game. He is not an SEC football player. By the way if Dobbs was the QB today he hangs 50 on this team and Tennessee wins. Not saying the defense doesn't give up points but Tennessee still wins and the fans are only concerned about the defense being bad. Points win the game.

The old saying , the backup QB is the most popular guy on the team when a team is losing. Some truth in that, however - after yesterdays GS game, I watched Auburn and Oregon. Each of those quarterbacks are light years better than JG. That Auburn QB isn't about to take a sack - he was scrambling all over the place and could do his checkdowns on the run. JG has never shown much of that. As John Ward said when asked why he was retiring.. "It's time".

Not saying it's all on JG. It was ugly all over the field. But I do agree with those that say Josh Dobbs would have handled these guys easily. Big difference in just attitude. At least give the backups some game reps..

JG is a huge problem. No improvement in his 3rd year playing and 4th on the team. How he was a top ranked dual threat guy out of high school baffles me. Knowing that he is garbage, someone else needs to be playing the rest of the season to plan ahead. At best we salvage a season with a potentially good QB. At worst, we keep losing to the Ga States of the world and we go 2-10 at best.

JG is terrible but wow defense gave up 38 and got gashed on the ground by Ga. State that still hard to accept. The great defensive coordinator has been exposed as a fake.

Matthews said on his radio show this AM. JG was robotic not sure what that means but he used it in a negative way. I always figured a robot would know where the 1st down line was but I digress.
