He just isn’t. His first pass needed touch; instead he throws a bullet for a INT. His pathetic early slide cost a first down. He was bailed out from another INT with a defensive PI.
I just don’t understand the love affair with this guy. He’s awful.
JG is the only TN QB that never proved himself to me. We've had some only "decent" QBs that proved themselves to me. Worley, Crompton, being examples. I'd hate them as much as I do JG now, but they would prove me so wrong. Unfortunately, JG has been a pile of Butch **** and won't ever be anything else at UT.He just isn’t. Uh no. There were a few that he threw too high throughout the game. Try again. He sure can throw right to the other team though. Keep defending mediocrity until we miss a bowl game again.
The only bad throws were the one that was a pick (and he got bailed out) and the next play where he was scrambling and he overthrew it. The one where he overthrew Callaway on the hitch was because he made a hand signal for a fade/back shoulder throw. He made some good throws to Jennings. And a good throw to Callaway for a TD. Nothing to say about those though huh? Does he need work? Sure. Are you making him the scapegoat for everything wrong with UF football? Obviously.
