JG aside, our lack of a strong RB is killing us

This is dumber than your post claiming Peterman was a lousy QB because he only had one 300 yard game, vs Clemson with 5 TDs, while you touted JG as a great qb. Then you ran and hid when called out.

QB play ABSOLUTELY has an effect on the running game. If the QB is inconsistent or is known to buckle under pressure, like JG, the Defense will stack the box and create said pressure...thus rendering the running game ineffective.

Football 101 son. It's ok to have a crush or be infatuated by a college QB, but still try to be logical.
Lol nobody is stacking the box vs a team running 70%+ 11 personnel.

I think this is an underrated issue. We haven't really had any elite backs in the last ten years besides Kamara and he wasn't even used.

Gray and Chandler go down way to easy. You really don’t see any Yards after contact from either. In the past we’ve had a better run game with a way lower overall quality o line due to having a good feature back who had speed and size. Do we have anyone on campus or recruit wise who may eventually fill this glaring hole? Will Cody Brown be that guy? Its nuts that a 2021 recruit is already bigger than our current RBs by 25 lbs

I noticed the same thing. We need a big bruiser for a RB. Cobb-Webb types.
