JG aside, our lack of a strong RB is killing us

Ingram is only 5’9” 215 as an NFL rusher. Gray is 5’10” and Chandler is 5’11”... both are 205.

Guys and gals, all of this COULD point to a drop off in S&C which was a huge concern of mine going into this season. We promoted a guy who basically had zero Power 5 S&C experience. To me that was risky and borderline asinine when you consider we had front row tickets to what happens when we fail to replace an experienced S&C coach with an experienced S&C coach. Getting tacked easy, getting pushed around and not getting off blocks can all be associated with strength.
We could have LSU’s guy and got similar results. In fact they’ve looked poorly. Artis has had extensive Power 5 S&C experience ...just not as the head guy. Height isn’t the big deal with running backs...it’s their compactness. Travis Henry was a load at 5’9...so is Mark Ingram. Kamara is more of a slasher. You may NEED our S&C guys to be inferior to support your narrative...doesn’t make it true. The more they have one on one time with the players the better I feel. Great hire!

Well he's not really big per se. He did run over that Missouri safety, but he's about the same size as Gray or Chandler. We really need someone that can help us convert on third and short.
Yeah and he looked smaller than he is listed but he played like 225 pounds on the one play.

I don’t need anything to fit my narrative. Where in the world did you pull that from? Just felt like being a jerk? One thing I realized is for many southern hospitality has forgotten itself.

Regardless, I root for people to succeed, not set them up to fail. I hope I am wrong in fact. But for now, our RBs go down easily. -1 yards. Our star studded OL got their butts kicked. 5 sacks. We can’t get off our blocks and we can’t get separation on the perimeter. THE DUDE HAS NEVER HELD HIS POSITION FOR A POWER 5.

THAT fits my narrative. I hope the supporting data changes along with your attitude.

NEITHER HAD SCOTT COCHRAN BEFORE SABAN HIRED HIM! He was a BASKETBALL ASSISTANT.

NEITHER WAS LSU’S TOMMY MOFFITT BEFORE MIAMI HIRED HIM AWAY FROM US...same position as Artis.

Your “concerns” are phantom and contrived...per your NARRATIVE. We got handled by FRIGGIN UGA...not Troy! Everybody’s either bigger, more athletic or more explosive than they were one calendar year ago...REMEMBER GEORGIA SOUTHERN AND BYU? We were going backwards by the end of the BYU game...did you blame that on FITZ? Maybe I’m a jerk, but you’re my equal or superior on that one front. Back to your bs. 😴

DID THEY COACH A STAR STUDDED OLINE THAT GOT -1 YARDS? 5 SACKS? PROBABLY NOT. And your comparison to MOFFIT is asinine. Equal jerk? This is not a chicken or an egg thing. Your remarks are almost always uncalled for. Constantly ripping people. I’d ask why, but why?

That is just dumb. The running game is not ineffective or effective because of the qb. The Rb and oline have 90% of the running game responsibility.
This is dumber than your post claiming Peterman was a lousy QB because he only had one 300 yard game, vs Clemson with 5 TDs, while you touted JG as a great qb. Then you ran and hid when called out.

QB play ABSOLUTELY has an effect on the running game. If the QB is inconsistent or is known to buckle under pressure, like JG, the Defense will stack the box and create said pressure...thus rendering the running game ineffective.

Football 101 son. It's ok to have a crush or be infatuated by a college QB, but still try to be logical.

That is why they're working out Beckwith in the backfield, IMO. Pruitt has always wanted a Bama style big back but just hasn't won a recruiting battle for one yet.

Never going to either till he fires his friend and gets a real o line coach.

We are a crap show on offense and have been since he was coach.

Somebody like him.
The way this OL played Saturday we need a really big back. Someone along these lines would be my preference. Open a hole or he runs up your backside.

NO! CUZ THEY DON’T COACH POSITION GROUPS!...you Mensa ****! And why throw “asinine” (so non-jerkish) on my Moffitt comparison...it’s dead on! He was qualified but had never headed a program. Canes didn’t miss a beat. I call for my remarks when you peddle your reactionary dunce act on here. Don’t like it? Don’t respond.

Mensa and I are friends. You are the chicken and the egg. Problem is your bagock gock makes no sense after all.

All the techniques for strength training are out there and known to anyone that wants to get shape or strength train. Does anyone really have a secret method that is unknown to the other training guys out there ? It’s more of a preference of styles. Players have to motivate themselves to train hard even if they have a good S&C coach overseeing the sessions.

You’re either good at implementing or you’re not. This was Fitz’s whole crew...they’re experienced. To use a bad game for a narrative is ASININE. Good points on your part btw.

Fully responsible for the train wreck that is your own.

While you seem to relish in the thought of my demise and even more so in the thought of it being my fault, I will see your comment with... oh crap! Butchna should never have said that.

Next, I will raise you with an... I was never responsible for the train wreck of someone else. I typically contribute towards the advancement of someone else. In this case, it is up to you.

You asked to play. You are IT.

Will you fold?

🙏🙏🙏
