What a dumba.. statement. Tell me all of these starting qb’s next year again. There are 14 QBs in the SEC that anyone would take over JG. The only one that you wouldn't is the KY guy. Alabama has at least 2 you would take. Actually Georgia has at least two. He is not a QB with the "it" factor. Regardless of his stats.
You do you consider honest critique s about his performance as whining? The guy has not proven to be an elite sec qb that can take over games. To think that there would be discussion off opposing opinions on a message board is pretty dumb. It's bringing out the JG whiners and that needs to be rehashed again.
I don't agree with this. His stats, which you disregard, establish him as a middle of the pack qb in the SEC not the bottom. And I would be hard to convince that JG didn't have the *worst* OL in front of him, especially after Kennedy and Smith were lost. I think it's important not to exaggerate JG's limitations. Sure, he needs to improve the quickness of his decision making process, but his decisions are generally good (i.e. safe). And he physically throws the ball well. There are bigger problems with that offense than JG.There are 14 QBs in the SEC that anyone would take over JG. The only one that you wouldn't is the KY guy. Alabama has at least 2 you would take. CA, go watch it. It won't take long. You just simply have no idea what you are talking about. Its funny that no one that is a professional agrees with you. Also 80% of the poll thinks he did ok to great. 40% good to great. Maybe you should just realize you don't know what you are talking about.
Maybe you should go watch the highlight video to see what he actually did this year. I don't know if you actually watched him this year.
JG ranked 11 of 14 passing. Add to that Hurts and Fields. As ive said before, I don't know about 14, but there are certainly more than 6 sec qbs anyone would take over him. If there were only 6, that would put him middle of the road.I don't agree with this. His stats, which you disregard, establish him as a middle of the pack qb in the SEC not the bottom. So still in the bottom half. Add to that 2 backup qbs in the league that everyone would take over him, and he is definitely in the bottom 3rd.I guess it depends on how you look at it... if sorted by QB rating (which I consider more relevant since he doesn't get to control how often Cornbread wants to pass) he was 8th:
SEC QBs (sortable)
You realize he had better passing numbers than the bottom three with less experience and less talent around him right? Definitely better than those three. I'd take gun over Mond and probably Bentley. Lock and Shurmur won't be there next year. So . . .I dont know about 14 but the obvious are ....
2 at Alabama
2 at UGA
Bentley at South Carolina
Lock at Mizzu
Shurmur (sp?) At Vandy
Mond from TAM
Taamu from Miss
Fitzgerald from MSST
Sthidam from Auburn
Burrow from LSU
So your estimation to to rate better because 2 are leaving? LolYou realize he had better passing numbers than the bottom three with less experience and less talent around him right?
