I didn't blame the loss on JG alone did I? I didn't blame JG either did I? I just simply completed the stat line the poster I replied to had written out to show JG's performance for that game.

I do agree that if the defense played like they have been we would have won. But isn't that winning inspite of JG and not because of JG?

I only ask because my post was in response to a comment saying JG played well that game.

Maurer plays every play like it’s the last play of the Super Bowl, lands on his head and you criticize his int he threw afterwards. But I’ve counted at least 4 times since last night you making an excuse for JG with the screws in his HAND? You’re a complete hypocrite!

If the defense plays as well as they have, then I like our chances with any QB but would prefer to see BM. However, it isn’t a fact that we can’t win the next 3 with JG at QB. It may not be likely but there is history to prove otherwise.

The worst thing about JG playing ahead of 2 talented freshmen is that it shows the weakness of our coaches.
Should we start a pool on when Pruitt loses his job.... I'm thinking 4th week of next season unless we fail to beat
a very bad, UK and Vandy this season.

Saban likes the UT discount for hiring coaches. Good plan! Maybe Rutgers hires Jones and helps us out with the rest of his contract.

Pruitt not getting fired for playing JG. Weinke - yes.

I think JG transfers at end of season anyway.

Eh, the fact comment was more of a jab at the person I was replying to claiming his opinion was a fact. But I don’t see us winning the next 2 games maybe even Vandy with JG at the helm. He was gift wrapped the ball 4 times inside the 50 and could only push the ball across the goal line once.

Ok. I didn’t check that running discussion. JG is difficult to watch for sure... just too darn slow with his reads. The toughness I admire and respect.

High five bonkers. Why don’t you just enjoy a win. We were supposed to win and we did. We were supposed to win by 12 and we won by 23. I live in the real world, not a world created by the we have been the most dominant team in the history of college football crowd. I don’t care if we win by 1 or 100. I will cheer just as hard when we do well, groan just as loud on a bad play, and high five on every win. Don’t really care if you don’t feel the same.

BTW, if Jarrett is so bad, why won't we lose all 3 instead of 1 or maybe 2? Which ones do we lose with Jarrett?

This is one of my favorites "JG is too slow with reads, you really have to twist things here. Jus 1st sack came as a result of failing to read Morris whiffing on a block on his blind side. JG held the ball 2 seconds.

More ignorant hate on your part.

When he is healthy, he does things that JG either can't or won't do... that win games. Things like hitting receivers in stride rather than allowing DB's to catch up. Things like throwing receivers open. Things like challenging tight windows.

Mistakes? Sure. But if you're trying you can correct them. It is better 100% of the time to fail trying than to fail to try. JG is MUCH too much the latter.

IMO, Pruitt was giving JG & JTS the nod to give Maurer another week to recover from the head injuries. UAB was never a threat to win at all.
