if thats the case, then thats weird, because i cant see Florida offering a QB if we dont.. they usually settle for only HIGH profile prospects.

Well, I forget that Bowling Green and Marshall are FBS so maybe if he decides to go play at one of those schools. The Stokes boys are kidding themselves if they think they're gonna be playing catch for somebody in one of the big 8 conferences.

Malik seems like a solid QB, it's just his size.

6 foot and weighs 160? Thats just not good, for about any position. He needs to grow a couple inches and put on at least 20 or 30 pounds.

Jeron needs to look after just himself and go to UT where he can be a future pro..
he doesnt need to settle somewhere on a lower level school just so he can play with his brother..

but it is up to him to decide, not me..

Out of the three I would like to have Patterson and Carroll. Add those two to our current core and go from there. I'm getting to the point of not really wanting Brown. Unless he shows me something different this weekend I could care less if we get him.

I think a receiving corps of James Green, Ahmad Paige, Gerald Jones and just one of Alshon Jeffrey, Marlon Brown, Randall Carroll, and Pat Patterson will have us set for the next couple of years and in that time we will definitely have some top receivers in the 09, 10 and 11 classes... Losing Jeron Stokes will be as significant as losing Josh Briscoe

I agree, but I think Stokes will be a very solid WR in college.......if we get Carroll it will offset Stokes tho. We do need either Jeffery or Patterson tho. I say we get Patterson Green, and Carroll in this class.

1)Briscoe should have never been recruited for one.

2) Stokes would be a playmaker if he comes. Big IF

3) I think Moore will have a bigger role than Jones next year.

4) I would like to get Carroll and Patterson. Jeffrey looks out of shape for some reason when I see him. Looks more like a Cornelius Ingram at TE.(WHICH WOULD BE GREAT FOR US!!!).

5) I hope Paige pans out. He will have no excuses this year.

6) Green will be a pretty good player for us even as a freshman.

Well Rivals and Volquest still have Stokes with us.

I would love to land 3 guys and have another Mechem, Swain, Smith trio. They were solid for us.

Patterson looks like a real possibility. Brown...nobody knows. I mean I really am just getting tired of trying to feel out his decision, and I assume everyone else is getting to that point as well. If we could steal Carroll from Cal/UCLA it would be a coup. This kid could be a huge pick up. I think he deserves all 5 of those stars. If we can keep Stokes, along with Green and get Patterson I think we'll be just fine and it would actually be the best Freshman WR corp in the country IMO.

Kendall Kelly and Reuben Randle won't be on the same team next year. The loser between LSU-Alabama battle for Randle will get Kelly.

yep...I don't see Kendall Kelly going to Alabama. I think Randle to Bammer and Kelly is a Tiger. Plus it's also worth it to say that nobody really knows how Randle will transition to WR, but we'll find out this weekend. Kelly is good and all but he's just a burner. I don't think he'll be that pure wide receiver type. JMO

D. Moore is my early pick for breakout player of the year for us in 09. With his speed and athletic ability, I think he blossoms in this new offense CLK is bringing in.
