He's one of my favorites. Why? After the Marshall game, I was hanging out Gate 21 with my kids.. letting them get autographs. Mayo, not only engaged my kids and granted them the autographs, he chatted with them, talked about sacks and chatted with me for more than 10 minutes. Really impressed with him and his career has confirmed my impressions of him that night. He was a great player for Vols and had great career in NFL,...…………….

If he stays on this trajectory, I'm sure he'll earn his shot as a head coach. UT had a great run of linebackers under Fulmer.Just heard from on the radio that he was the pats LB coach now and was excelling and probably going to be calling a majority of the defensive plays! That’s awesome! Dude was an absolute stud!
AJ Johnson was pretty great but got royally screwed.
HamptonThese were the typical Va Beach guys we used to land on thd regular. Pruitt really needs to get back into that area, IMO. The level and talent in that region is as good as anywhere in the Country.

If people remember. Jerrod Mayo had a hectic start to his college career. People were calling him a bust after 2 years
JJ Peterson is a similar type player at this stage. Sometimes a takes a bit to get footing.
With Crouch, Harrison, and To'oto'o running with him, You'll see him reach his potential.
