You sir are an idiot. (I don't call people out like this, but it had to be done in your case) Pruitt didn't make any excuses and took all the blame. The only thing that even sounded like an excuse (which he said was an explanation) was that our starting O-Line hasn't really practiced that much at their positions.Ummm...I started 3 freshmen in the secondary....ummm that's what I promised them to sign up....ummmm..I dont give a flip about this year.. .ummmm... its not about winning games this year....ummmm... its about having a miserable year now playing freshmen then showing development (the trend)....ummm...so this year is a stepping stone... ummmm... ummmm.. ummmmm... thank you Fulmer for getting me a huge next contract cuz I'm dooley and bricks...ummm. Gosh almighty we are rock bottom! Sad!!
Pruitt exhibited good leadership qualities with his post game press conference, we all know it's the players fault and not Pruitt's, but he took responsibility.
How would he look blaming it on the players, he'd end up losing the team, but the players full well know who's responsible for the 1st game debacle.
I drank the orange Kool aid, and like many, let my emotions run too high in hope of seeing something different from last year.
Being a old athlete, I know quite well that it's the players that win ball games, not the coaches.......... bottom line, the Vols need players that can compete in the SEC.....
