I'm bored at work and considerate af, so I transcribed the portion of Coach Pruitts introductory press conference that should answer OP's question:

What kind of football team are we gonna have on offense? I know that's gonna be a question - what are we gonna do. Aight the first thing offensively, I feel like we gotta create balance. We want to be able to run the football when we want to run it. Okay? Aight it starts with dominating the line of scrimmage. It's no secret, if you want to be successful in this league, you gotta dominate up front. Aight that's mental and physical toughness. We wanna create explosive plays in the pass game. That starts with being able to run the football.

Defensively:

We want to create an aggressive style of defense that we dictate what the offense does. We're not gonna sit back on our heels, aight, we're not gonna play off wide receivers. We're gonna walk up on the line of scrimmage and every inch that the other team gets is gonna be challenged.

Helton has mentioned to recruits that our offense will do a lot of things like USC. Whatever we try, we literally cannot get any worse.

That run-it-down-their-throats offensive style only works in the SEC if you’ve got road graters on the Oline, which we do not. If you try to force this style of offense when you don’t have the personnel to do it, you end up with a lot of 3 and outs. This may take a while

Agreed. I think we will be physical with the teams we can be physical with, and I have no idea what we do against the Bama's, UGA's, and Auburns.

Go Vols.

Based on what Helton did at USC, and what CJP said in the presser, you can expect a balanced offense. UT is NOT USC, but that offense was about as balanced as it gets. Their top-3 WR averaged about 15 yds/catch and their top-4 RB averaged over 5 yds/carry. Darnold completed high-percentage passes and only ran when he had to and in short-yardage situations. How does that translate to us? As Fade said, we don't have road-graders, so it's safe to assume this offense will utilize quick, high-percentage passes to spread out the defense, and mix in an equal amount of run plays. I would be shocked if Helton tries to line it up and pound people. I don't expect to see much of the RPO either. We don't really have a mobile QB or the OL to pull it off.

Anyone have any ideas on the offensive style he will run?

You might take a look at WKU's 2014-15 offenses while Tyson Helton was there as OC.

If I remember correctly, Head Coach Jeff Brohm was the play caller, but he was taking suggestions from OC Coach Helton who was in the booth.

The Hilltoppers offenses put up video game type numbers during this time.

I remember back in the day, and this is what i've heard, so take it with a grain of salt. That the OLine would tell the defense where we were running and dare them to stop us and they couldn't. I want Olines like that back again.

I recall hearing that Spencer Riley would tell the defense, "We're running to the left and there's nothing you can do about it." On the the next play he would say, "We're running to the right and there's nothing you can do about it." And then on the next play he would say, "We're running to the left again and there's nothing you can do about it!" Then they would run to the right instead. :)

Remember the TVA? Olines. Those were the good ol' days.

I remember Antone Davis and Charles McCrae bulldozing defensive linemen and then running loose in the second and third levels of the defense looking for LBs and little DBs to pancake. We need to get back to the days of mean, aggressive offensive linemen.

I agree whole heartedly. We absolutely need to get back to that type of offensive line. Mean, aggressive, just plain ol' nasty. Hit the guy and then the player, while on his back, would be all like, "did you get the license plate of that truck that just hit me?"
