What kind of football team are we gonna have on offense? I know that's gonna be a question - what are we gonna do. Aight the first thing offensively, I feel like we gotta create balance. We want to be able to run the football when we want to run it. Okay? Aight it starts with dominating the line of scrimmage. It's no secret, if you want to be successful in this league, you gotta dominate up front. Aight that's mental and physical toughness. We wanna create explosive plays in the pass game. That starts with being able to run the football.
We want to create an aggressive style of defense that we dictate what the offense does. We're not gonna sit back on our heels, aight, we're not gonna play off wide receivers. We're gonna walk up on the line of scrimmage and every inch that the other team gets is gonna be challenged.
That run-it-down-their-throats offensive style only works in the SEC if youve got road graters on the Oline, which we do not. This may take a while
Anyone have any ideas on the offensive style he will run?
I remember back in the day, and this is what i've heard, so take it with a grain of salt. That the OLine would tell the defense where we were running and dare them to stop us and they couldn't. I want Olines like that back again.
Remember the TVA? Olines. Those were the good ol' days.
I agree whole heartedly. We absolutely need to get back to that type of offensive line. Mean, aggressive, just plain ol' nasty. Hit the guy and then the player, while on his back, would be all like, "did you get the license plate of that truck that just hit me?"
