First off, people don't "form their own feelings". We feel. We can, to some extent, train ourselves ahead of time so that when situations occur, we don't overreact based on feelings, but we don't wait for a situation, then decide how we're going to feel about it.

Secondly, huh? The very point I made was that the officer's feelings do not enter into this at all. Just because someone doesn't feel threatened doesn't mean that threats weren't made. How in the world could you interpret that to mean that he or she isn't capable of feelings and opinions.

Which part is really correct. u turn.....no big deal, it got a bit worse afterwards, but never to the level of actual threatening officers.

However the spiraling began much sooner. When Banks made mistakes and refused to correct them.

The situation was from Banks own doing and happened (that night) because he chose to drive, not from a simple U turn.

I made a comment on what I thought was wrong. Then I showed what was correct. However now I should choose something different to comment on OK.

Actually the officer's thoughts and opinions are the only ones that matter on this subject unless you were there. I assume you weren't.

And yes, we all feel, but our feelings or opinions on this interaction have nothing to do with what happened and don't matter.

People pushing the outrage at Banks are basically saying that officers aren't outraged and offended enough....

Naw chief, I will let the Officers who were face to face with Banks form their own feelings and thoughts on what Banks said to them. Not harp on a message board about how outraged I am like a millenial .

Meanwhile no one is saying anything back to him. They just finished letting him make multiple phone calls, adjusting his cuffs for him, rolling his window down because he said he was hot. The nicest thing they did was not drug testing him. He should’ve been charged with DUI. No way you can watch the video and not think he’s high as a kite. After all those threats he tells them how nice they are, and then is right back to telling them how they’d piss their self without a badge.

He consented to a car search and they found nothing in his car.

Obviously being out late is suspect but to say he was lucky to not get a field sobriety test or drug test is dumb.

Remember this is all over a wrong U turn. I'm sure that screamed the driver being under the influence.

And you are implying that I said the whole arrest and ordeal was over a wrong turn. That's not what I said. You somehow managed to skip over 3 lines of sentences and a comment I was responding to that was 2 paragraphs.

There is a good chance none of this would have happened without the u turn. However there is zero chance it happens if Banks doesn’t drive that night, or if the mistakes earlier weren’t made or if he had simply corrected them.
