The person in question continued to ignore said warrant (because she’s ignorant and thinks ignoring stuff makes it go away) and eventually was pulled over again and was charged with DUI and failure to appear.

I rarely argue with my wife. She is a psychology major, has done years of social work with kids, teenagers and adults, she very smart, she’s very logical and she’s seen it all. So I’m kinda ****ed and pick my battles very judiciously.

And no I’m not “parsing” words. I’m just not pretending to act like I know how the two officers felt from their time with Banks. I’m also willing to let the two grown adults in the front seat of squad car come to their own conclusions and feelings instead of letting a message board decide for them.

Maybe Pruitt is an idiot but that is not the impression that I got from the phone call. He almost sounded like he was trying to walk through the situation to understand it. Pruitt is a football coach not an attorney or Sheriff. Now, I am sure if the cop would have offered to release banks to pruitt then he would have picked him up or arranged it to be done. Worst case scenario, Pruitt was "opening the door" for the cop to make this a less embarrassing situation for Banks, Pruitt and UT.

So you are saying what you perceive is a threat is 100000% perceived as a threat to everyone else in the world? That's some power you wield.

If someone says to me directly, I'm going to kill you and you're family, yes, I can determine if that is a threat.

What I won't do is say on the internet, those cops 100000% felt threatened based on their interactions with a total stranger that I have no involvement with.

Can you sit here today and confirm that the two officers felt threatened and unsafe? Can you do that? If you can't, you can kindly stfu with the manufactured outrage where everyone on here is all "I'm so offended so the Cops HAVE TO BE offended just as much"....

I could be wrong but I think he’s saying you can definitely say how you would feel/react if you, personally, were in a similar situation but you can’t speak to how someone else (definition being NOT you) would feel/react in the same situation.
