Y'all can shoot the messenger all you want but how about you flash the OK symbol next to a couple of your AA coworkers and then ask your HR Department if that is OK.

Obviously context matters with these terms and symbols. My wife is fixing chili tonight and she wants me to pick up some onions and a box of crackers. Obviously, there is no racist overtones with the latter item in her request based on context.

People who extoll you for calling Johnny, Joanie, but wish to criminalize your calling him 'him', must let racial supremacists and such appropriate norms for their purposes, else the gig is up.

Please someone tell me why the ok symbol is racist. I seriously have no clue. All the basket ball players do it when they make a three pointer ,it's all over album covers with the artist looking through it .
