What happened to Darrell Taylor? He was at the Senior Bowl this week but I haven't heard anything about him all week and I didn't see him one time in the game...

Taylor talked about Tennessee’s season while in Mobile this week for the Reese’s Senior Bowl. Taylor’s week hasn’t gone as he hoped, with an injury keeping him from participating on the field. But he still has attended practices, the team meetings with the Cincinnati Bengals coaches and the individual meetings with NFL talent evaluators.

From The Athletic re: Jennings draft stock

"Earlier this month, Pro Football Focus tabbed Jennings as a first-round pick to the Green Bay Packers at No. 30 overall."

“They put in the work, and one thing PFF does very well is they trust their process and they believe in it. That’s something that should be admired. At the same time, they are production-based with their grades,” Brugler said. “A lot of NFL teams are more traits-based. They draft traits, not production. I think that might be where there’s a little disconnect with a player like Jennings. … He’s not going to check every box for what NFL teams are looking for, but in the right situation, if a team is looking for a big slot receiver, I could see them evaluate him over some of these other guys.”

You might want to research that. There have been plenty of great NFL receivers in 4.6 territory:

5 great receivers who posted slow times while running the 40

You're correct Tom Brady has made a GOAT career throwing to guys like Edelman with a 4.52 forty and before him Wes Welker with a forty time of 4.65. It's about getting open where you're supposed to be, catching the ball in traffic, and then getting yards after catch. JJ excels in all those areas he's not a small guy like those two I mentioned BUT he has their intangibles and can make a mediocre NFL QB look good and a good NFL QB look great.

There is no question about the intangibles...heart, desire, YAC, etc. All a GM has to do is start with the Georgia Hail Mary...

I’m sure you agree, but that is why his 40 time matters so much. It can vault him or sink him. Sorry folks, but the measurables matter...a lot...on draft day when GM jobs are on the line.

But at the end of the day, is it so bad to be drafted in the third round and then be Offensive ROY...see Kamara, A.

That difference in 2nd and 3rd round often comes down to guaranteed money vs fluff that may or may not be there.
