Jennings looking strong this week

JJ gets open and will catch the ball. He's hard to tackle and breaks several usually, at least in college. If he falls past 1st round I'll be surprised.

I agree with every positive said about JJ in this tread. But I just don't see a NFL team spending first round money to draft him. It's speed league and that is his biggest down fall. My guess he a 2nd / 3rd rounder. We all will just have to wait and see. Hope he has a great game tomorrow I will be watching like most other Vol fans.
It’s weird, I listen to sports radio everyday in Mobile Alabama, I heard them talking about the WRs today and nobody mentioned JJ. So if he’s tearing up the town, I’m not hearing it. Believe me I wish I was!

In a REDRAFT? He’s a high to mid first round talent. When the real McCoy goes down, he’s a second or third day guy.

Wide Receiver Jauan Jennings (Tennessee)
Many of the wide receivers performed very well in the practice days of Senior Bowl week. Jennings was a player that was consistent from day one’s practice and continued to make progress. Thursday was his most significant day in a controlled setting that favored the offensive side of the ball. Jennings won multiple matchups where he was outside or slot receiver. Of all the receivers in the Senior Bowl, Jennings was the one that raised his Draft stock the highest.
2020 Senior Bowl Practices Day Three: Top Performers

Top prospect - bigger & rangy: Jauan Jennings, Tennessee
This could have been split between two, three or four big receivers who stood out throughout the week, but Jennings was my favorite. The 6-foot-3 receiver played as physically and violently in practice as we saw in games, moving people as a blocker. But he also was such a smooth route runner given his size, accelerating quickly and using double-moves to get open. He felt like the most complete receiver on the roster who was 6-foot-2 or taller. Here's my favorite catch from the week:

He’s gonna be a third rounder and be an excellent catch for someone. He can block and he will play special teams. Perfect third/fourth receiver for a team.

The strange thing is that ESPN's McShay, who is in Mobile, doesn't even give him a mention and Kiper's Top Ten at every position doesn't have him listed. Those guys are pretty wired in on what the pros are thinking. I think he's going to get drafted but 1st round doesn't seem in play unless McShay has been spending more time in the bars than the practice field. The game will say a lot but most of the talent evaluation by the pros down there is done on the practice field. If Jennings gets drafted any later than 2nd round someone will get a steal. (When I was stationed in Pensacola you could run over to Mobile and actually watch the workouts. Was incredibly cool. Plus there was an incredibly good hole-in-the-wall oyster bar in downtown Mobile for some oysters and beer afterwards.)
Wintzell's oyster house - It's one of the oldest's restaurants in the city. I worked there during Mardi Gras about 15 years ago and it was always crazy but it's a great place to eat. $0.25 Oysters and $1 Drafts during happy hour.

Hopefully he can train to that...

I would guess 4.7 honestly.
But DBs aren't going to out jump or out fight him for the rock.
Great route runner with strong hands!
He's always open.
So what if he doesn't run 4.4...he's always open.

In college....
