couple things.

kicking epstein out isn't a win, if trump knew like he claimed. because that is ALL Trump did. now had Trump kicked Epstein out and called the cops, that would hold water.

I wouldn't count on Trump saying "everyone knew" being all that literal. its phrase he uses incorrectly in a lot of his speeches to make himself seem better. "Its the best, just ask anyone". could be the same phrase usage here, and it really calls into question how many people actually knew, circling right back to Trump should have actually done something.

all that is on top of fighting the release, even after a law was passed. If Trump knew it was wrong from day 1, he never should have fought the release. never should have called it a hoax, or any of his other dismissals.

It will be nice to see al the names once the prosecutions begin. It would be foolish to release before that point. Now we see why the Biden administration was protecting these pedos.

Basically I suspect that a large percentage of the names will be entertainment industry individuals. And those people donate a very large chunk of the funding for democrat candidates. The Dems do not want to lose their golden goose.

Chief Justice John Roberts and William Barr are a couple "Republicans (RInos)" of interesting names on the list. Howard Lutnick's relationship with the man is crazy bad.

It's my contention that a lot of names were redacted because just doing certain types of business with Epstein and/or one of his many corporations does not necessarily make you a pedophile nor imply you had sex with barely legal young gals.

This is what I think too...there are some true pedophile rapists of actual children involved, there are some people who likely did some scummy but not illegal things with adult models/escorts in their 20s with Epstein, there are people who probably knew about some of it and didn't do anything because they and their rich friends (on both sides) are elites used to it, and there are people mentioned in emails or business deals or may even have visited the island and NEVER saw or did anything wrong at all.

Nuance matters, which is why I go back to logic and actual evidence.

I think the TRULY dark stuff if it's real (the child rape (baby-age 16 type stuff), kidnapping, possible ritual sacrifice/cannibalism, cult stuff is the true evil and only a very small percentage of these people were involved in that.

The "victims" who were in their 20s/30s as paid escorts who loved the life and were willingly involved for a decade are a different category to me.

I don't care about rich people having sex parties with adults and cheating on their spouses for blackmail BS

My overall takeaway about the whole Epstein files controversy is that, all the political posturing to the contrary, neither side really wants the full unredacted files released. The fact that they haven’t been; under either democrat or Republican leadership strongly indicates that it is basically the political equivalent of the Mutually Assured Destruction theory that basically kept the peace during the Cold War. Both Parties (as well as academia, Entertainment, and corporations) almost certainly have prominent members implicated in such.

No organization can claim absolute moral purity here IMHO. And everyone in DC knows that.

I think this is the most practical and realistic idea of what occurred. I think there are just too many people involved for everyone to be into some Satanic/cannibalistic Ba’al cult and for someone not to talk at some point over the years. I truly hope so at least . And I wholeheartedly hope that Bill and Hillary and Trump have zero to do with any of the terrible things that occurred. We should all hope for that. We should never want our Presidents to be involved in such horrible acts. It amazes me how far we’ve come to see people hoping that a sitting POTUS or former POTUS is involved here. This country sure does love to see a fall.

I’m not saying there shouldn’t be accountability for anyone involved. I’m saying the idea that people are hoping that the actual President of the United States or multiple POTUS’ are guilty of actively participating and covering up these crimes is not something we should want as a nation. Trump and Clinton are both clearly flawed individuals, but to be disgraced in such a way would be much worse than a Watergate situation, Monica Lewinsky perjury scandal or some sort of Quid pro quo kind of thing . If they’re guilty then hold them accountable, but I’m hoping they’re not bc I still have this idea that The Office of Presidency is sacred, even if those that hold or have held the Office don’t hold it to that same level of respect. I’m sure that sounds naive to many, but that’s my hope.

Edit: Please don’t misunderstand what I’m saying as protection for the POTUS or their wives. They should have to answer tough questions. Someone asked Hillary why Maxwell was at Chelsea’s wedding in 2010 . Her answer was that she was a +1. I don’t know how thorough the vetting process is for the guest list for the daughter of a former POTUS, but I’d like to think they’d have a decent idea of who is attending. Maybe they don’t .
