Speaking of Bobby Fischer, it's a black mark on our society that our government went after Fischer with infinitely more energy over playing a board game with a 55-year-old than it's gone after Epstein's clients for raping numerous children as young as nine. Fischer had to live abroad as a fugitive from American law for the rest of his life while these child rapists and Epstein's bosses live like kings, proving that Fischer was right all along in his so-called "rants" about the USA and Israel.

She only became a victim, much like the other adults in that group when the lawsuits started and she made millions, but she still was trying to free and have sex with Epstein up until his death

Kathy Ruemmler, the top lawyer at storied investment bank Goldman Sachs and former White House counsel to President Barack Obama, announced her resignation Thursday, after emails between her and Jeffrey Epstein showed a close relationship where she described him as an “older brother” and downplayed his sex crimes.
Ruemmler said in a statement that she would “step down as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Goldman Sachs as of June 30, 2026.”
Up until her resignation, Ruemmler repeatedly tried to distance herself from the emails and other correspondence and had been defiant that she would not resign from Goldman’s top legal post, which she had held since 2020.
While Ruemmler has called Epstein a “monster” in recent statements, she had a much different relationship with Epstein before he was arrested a second time for sex crimes in 2019 and later killed himself in a Manhattan jail. Ruemmler called Epstein “Uncle Jeffrey” in emails and said she adored him.

During her time in private practice after leaving the White House in 2014, Ruemmler received several expensive gifts from Epstein, including luxury handbags and a fur coat, the files reveal.

The gifts were given after Epstein had already been convicted of sex crimes in 2008 and was registered as a sex offender.

“So lovely and thoughtful! Thank you to Uncle Jeffrey!!!” she wrote to him in 2018.

In the past several months, batches of documents released by Congress and the Justice Department added detail to the relationship, deepening concerns among some inside the bank about her position. Documents showed that Epstein had listed Ruemmler as a backup executor in a version of his will and called her the night he was arrested in 2019. They also detailed their extensive chatty emails and the luxury gifts he showered on her.

Some of the documents show that in 2019, just months before Epstein was arrested on federal sex-trafficking charges, Ruemmler was advising Epstein on how to respond to public criticism that he got a “sweetheart” plea deal in 2008.

Fischer was an idiot but has nothing to do with this current issue.

And his "rants" involved praising 9/11, saying every Jew should be exterminated and that the Holocaust was a myth, so no he wasn't right about anything

Ok but if Epstein introduced her to the lifestyle at 14, surely you agree that she was a victim at least until she reached the age of consent.

Absolutely, but if you research the majority of that group were paid escorts in their 20s at the time, I don't look at time the same as actual child rape victims, some of them even helped find other women for Epstein

They were fine with it for 15 years until the lawsuits against his state started, then all of them retroactively became victims..

You should look into what grooming is and the affects abuse has on the brain. As I’m sure you know from being a cop there’s women that physically get the **** beat out of them and stay with their husbands and refuse to put the pos in jail

If what she said happened during the 90’s she’s 100% a victim

I don't disagree but her behavior isn't normal, even for a regular victim

But i'm also referring to mostly this political group of "victims" who refuse to name names but are getting paid to grandstand. This group were mostly paid adult escorts who were not raped and willingly were there and only changed their stories to be victims when the Epstein estate said they would settle 7-8 years ago

What argument? I'm not arguing with you....just pointing out that several 14 year olds do have sex and it doesn't "mess them up" at all...

Hell, there are 21 states that have 14 or younger as the Age of Consent legally

Surely you know there’s a difference between a 14yo messing around with another high schooler vs getting groomed and abused by a middle aged man

Those zero states here with the age of consent at 14….
