Not really. Your arguments hold no weight. This isn’t the NFL. There isn’t free agency. There is no draft. There is recruiting and that’s a huge part of coaching. And it coaching is different in the NFL and college.
In the NFL, you are right, there is no talent advantage. So your coaching style has to be different. You and some others just don’t seem to get it. Fisher is tied for the most losses in the history of the NFL. Now let’s say we were looking for a HC in college that was tied for the most losses in the modern era? Would you still want him?
And if Fisher came here where he would have to deal with the talent mismatch he would get eaten alive. It works both ways. Fisher sucks and has no business being the HC at TN. Maybe you can answer this. Why would a guy who has coached in the NFL so long, want to come to somewhere where he has zero experience at his age? Why aren’t other NFL teams calling him up for job offers?
