Probably been much talked about but I didn't see the game and I could not believe this stat. 1 yard rushing for the entire game!!
How can a division 1 football program do that???
Me thinks our overrated o-line sucks!
:mf_surrender:
Look what this exact same O-line with the same quality running backs did in this game last year! It is not the O-line as much as it is Clawson's scheme he has the O-line running.
I'm talking about the running game. Look at the stats from last year to this year. Our running game has taken a hit.

I agree when it comes to passing but when you are running a simple off tackle hand off to the tailback, all the line has to do is block the man in front of them! No fancy scheme on that. With just a minimal push by the center, guard and tackle you should get a couple of yards and we never did that the entire game! GA's d-line just plain kicked our o-lines butt. Its just that simple and IMO pathetic. I have passed shocked and angry to just depressed. :ill_h4h:
A few years back, UT switched to zone blocking system. I believe they spent some time out in Denver watching the Broncos. I think our coaches were impressed by the fact that any running back in their system seemed to do well and they used multiple backs. I don't think we've been successful running the ball since then, compared to the old "Pound The Rock" era of the 90's. Then add in Clawson's switching the linemen from one side to the other, that can't help, it must add to the confusion. It is so obvious that Hardesty ought to be the guy, the loyalty to Foster is commendable, but Hardesty is down hill, he explodes into the hole. UGA had 40+ running plays to our total 45 plays!
