and that’s the part none of us knows. Was he just a mouthy drunk or did some drunken bravado step up in some way.
All we have is the drunken version of events so far. It appears knuckles may have met mouth but we really don’t know to what extent. We also don’t know if falling down a flight of stairs busted his chops and took out the teeth. Dude knocked himself flat out falling down those stairs.
It’s sad to see that lots of folks are unfortunately jumping ahead to conclusions without actually knowing the complete circumstances of what occurred.
What I do know for sure after reading this thread with all the automatic guilty verdicts is if I ever need a jury seated an exclusion question will be are you a poster on Volnation. 🤦‍♀️

I'm concerned with what kind of program the TN Vols under Josh Heupel run.

If we're FL with Urban Meyer, fine..... own it. I'm not okay with it, but own it.

What's wrong with you people? It's like you're just looking for 1% chances Jaylan didn't beat the F outta this guy. His damn hand is bandaged and bloody and there's a guy nearby with the hell beat out of him who admittedly entered Jaylan's room uninvited.

I'm not saying I wouldn't have whipped that ass also but I'm also saying I'd man up to it.

So if he's not immediately kicked off the team for hitting somebody UT is a dirty program akin to urbans Florida teams?

and if he did something in Jaylen's residence, it might be warranted. He also admittedly fell down a flight of stairs. Who knows how much of his injuries were jaylen and how much were the stairs. There's more than a 1% chance the warrant isn't 100% truthful man....especially since this is way out of character for Jaylen.

Don't be naive. Heupel is in year 2 at UT and in the top 10.

Jaylan McCullough isn't that big of a deal to what UT has in place with Coach Heupel. We don't need this kind of crap.

It's an easy decision. Tennessee needs to do what is good for TN in the long run. Jaylan McCullough is irrelevant to the future of TN football.

I don't give a damn if Jaylan's gf busted this guy's nose (but her hand isn't bloody,) if you create a distraction before the biggest game of the season...... you're toast.

We don't need this. We're on the edge of the top 4 for the CFP. Beat Bama and we're legit contenders.

Sorry Jaylan, you're not worth the trouble.

Screw you. The police aren't interested in charging a felony for no reason for a simple fight. You've never been out there, obviously, as a cop or in a bar fight.

I dunno, maybe not understanding what is actually involved in that charge and just overreacting while making crap up.

If you get a couple of teeth knocked out would you consider that an “obvious disfigurement”? Would you consider that it could cause “extreme physical pain”? If you said yes to either of those, congratulations you just met the state law criteria for “serious bodily injury” which is what is required for that aggravated assault charge to be a felony.

We're not Meyer or Jimbo. We've way more going than ANY player delivering beat downs. That's EXACTLY what I'm saying.

Like they don't see fights...... like they don't see busted noses..... like they never see a split lip...... what the hell is wrong with you people? They charged this as a FELONY aggravated assault and you act like this is the first fight they've ever seen.

Seriously, remove the orange and white glasses, the police aren't looking to charge FELONY aggravated assault for no good reason.

Spoken by someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about. I’ve known all kinds of families with multiple children who have some very nice reasonable parents and great children yet one of their kids is regularly in trouble while the other kids are model citizens. All the kids got the same role model. Once puberty hits easily instructed children can have a mind of their own.
