I'm not sure if tvols75 saw my request in the FB forum, but I thought this should be brought over here. I know many here do not venture over into the FB forum, but this stuff makes me proud to be a Vol fan. Please, go to this thread, and read this amazing story.

I hope everyone can rally behind this. Players and coaches are getting involved, and I would love for more Vol fans to get involved, too.

This thread is now a sticky at the top of the FB forum. Peyton Manning got in touch with Jay, and Herman Lathers contacted him to inform Jay that the game on Saturday would be dedicated to him.

Regardless of wins and losses, im always proud and grateful to be a VFL. Jay's story has reminded me, hammered home actually, how fortunate we are to be able to wake up every single day as a Tennessee Volunteer. The acts of Peyton and Herm only reinforce what a wonderful family we have. Like any family, we may not always agree, but at the end of the day we are united.

I pray that Jay gets to see this team take the field on saturday. That alone will make saturday a victory in my book. #VFL

Jay has been called by Philip Fulmer. Tyler Bray, Trevarris Saulsberry, Justin King, Herman Lathers, and Devrin Young have all publicly reached out to Jay. VFL

Don't just dedicate saturday...THE REST OF THE SEASON !!! Jay, I am praying for you buddy! He has been battling for 7 years, these guys will ball out for the rest of the season for him. #JAYSTRONG...GET SOME!!!

In addition, Curt Maggit, JR Carr, Christian Harris, and Darin Gooch have all publicly reached out to Jay today.
