I just tuned in and the next play they threw to him and he dropped it. Announcer said that he dropped one earlier that was for a TD. The one I saw was an easy catch. Hit him right in the bread basket. Sucks to suck. Hope JJ does well.

Pretty sure he said Hurd. I mean why would he talk about JJ after Hurd just dropped that pass? Unless they were referring to the QB there about his incompletions. Either way, Hurd dropped an easy one a few minutes ago and came off the field frustrated as you'd expect him to do. He looked very Gaurantanoey coming off the field. I giggled.

I couldn’t give two ***** about Hurd. But pulling for Jennings big time!
Idk. I’d like to think a better coach could have gotten more out of Hurd and Kamara and got them both on the field at the same time. Hurd no doubt acted like a baby here but we just had a lack of leadership from top to bottom.

Agreed. He handled it badly, but he was also in a messed up situation. I hope no one ever passed judgement over me for my worst moment in my early twenties. He's got a clean slate in my book.

If Hurd was willing to play running back he would be a starting running back in the nfl and wouldn’t be worried about rather he making the team or not.
From the start (at Tennessee) I thought he should be playing tight end. I think he got tired of dragging three or five guys with him.

It’s hard to change positions and only play 1 year at said position and then be successful in the NFL. He’s a great talent but would have been better suited to play RB even if it was for 5-8 years verses 10+ years. Look at Derek Henry in the NFL. They both was similar in size when they both was in college. Not saying he was as good but as far as size wise they bout the same.

I understand you, man. If he had had equally talented protection (and coaching), it might have turned out tbat way. I don't think Hurd was an example of a ckach putting him"in the best position to succeed", or, however they put it.
