I am loving it...all the sc fans want duece staley as their rb coach
1st..he has never coached
2nd..he never finished school...great example that would be


they are slamming gillespie saying he sucked now..couldn't recruit or teach..etc

work out at the same gym as jarvis and was constantly talking to him about tennessee and he said ever since he was little he liked tennessee, he referred to them as "the team in orange" because thats how he knew them when he was little. talked to the trainer at the gym today and he said jarvis told him he thinks he made the wrong descision now

well giles said he didn't like the way reaves talked bad about sc and said he couldn't win championships there

well i would like to know how he feels about sc gillipsie saying come play for me...i am your position coach...and then leaves the program 3 days after you start class leaving you locked into you loi

haha don't expect them to believe that. but we'll miss Gillespie a lot. He was a big part of our staff.

HAHA I love it... not for him obviously, but just the fact of the matter.

Is there any way to drop his classes at SC, and sign with the Vols, and start classes in the fall in Knoxville?

Before people run with this, I am not saying he should do this, or I am not saying I want him to do this... I am simply wondering what recruits can do in a situation like this where they enroll early and realize they messed up.

Money talks. He didn't anticipate being offered that much by Ok. State. When you get an oppurtunity like that you have to take it. Giles will be fine don't worry about it.:thumbsup:

the signed a loi and i think they can only opt out if the head coach is canned or something along that nature

He could probably file like a hardship waiver or something saying that he doesn't want to play there due to the unexpected coaching change so soon, and even before any football activities start.

I dont know how likely it is, but he probably could

oh yeah god call volsguy12......he didn't sign his loi

i think he may be free to leave if he chooses then...there is some early signee paperwork that is filed..not sure what it covers
