Jarvis Giles

What do you call REAL success. How about 27-6....I think that is a measure of success. You guys were drooling at the mouth about Giles until he committed to us. I would think he had as good a chance NOW at USC as he would at Tennessee at winning a championship. We played below our talent this year and still ended up in Tampa Bay so we must be doing something right. All we need is a QB and we will be ready to roll. Here's hoping that Garcia is that man. Spurrier is a Tennessee guy that got turned away. He could have been yours and if the timing had been right I believe he would have coached you guys.

If the kid really wants to go to South Carolina thats fine. I wish him luck. He will need it.

Its must make all Cock fans proud to be going to a bowl in tampa. Funny thing is most UT fans are upset to fall that far down in the bowls.

If he went to USC.. meaning the University of Southern California yes he would have a good chance of going to a championship game. Otherwise I dont see it happening anytime in the near future.

All we need is a QB and we will be ready to roll.

Roll where, exactly? To another "overpromise and underdeliver" season? South Carolina seems to have that routine down pat. Until your team has done anything of importance, please refrain from making outlandish predictions like "we will be ready to roll." History has proven that'll never happen.

Just when I thought we were done with all these mouth-breathing Cock fans, another one wastes his time registering here. Hopefully this one forgets his password.

Lol another Cock. I can just picture the load that USCe fans blew when they finally put a W in the column against UT this year. Enjoy it, you'll have to tell your grandkids about it someday because Rocky Top is back.

Its really not. String some 10 win seasons together then you can say that. Kiffin's confidence does not mean you're back. The man still has to coach.

And as far as Giles goes, yall are just looking to rip into him any chance you get. We gave a job to Reaves for 5 or so years and this is what he has to say about us right after he changes jobs? Whether you think his comments are true or not, he crossed the line and showed no respect for a program that gave him a chance. Giles is not a bad person for seeing the true character of a guy he would play for.

Calling it negative recruiting is a huge stretch. I would say true negative recruiting would have to be explicit.

Duce and everybody at The State are a bunch of crybabies.

Well, now we are giving him a chance. A chance to coach in a program that has won a National title and conference titles.

The only reason it makes you angry is because you know it's true. It wouldn't sting if it didn't make sense, after all. How can anybody fault the guy for leaving a historically insignificant program to coach with his brother-in-law at a school that's actually proven it can compete in the SEC? It's not about respect in the least - he was there long enough to realize he was spinning his wheels. Coaches want to succeed, and South Carolina's version of "success" simply wasn't cutting it.

I'm sure he'll enjoy Spurrier's character much more. That, coupled with his stellar record at USCe, is a winning combination.

He's actually 16. Give 'em some credit.

That's cool. Then USCe is only 2-14 vs. UT during his lifetime....

Put it this way, it would be more reasonable for me to go on the REAL USC board and continuously talk smack to them.... As foolish as that would be it would make more sense than what these Cocks keep doing around here! At least UT has experienced a Football Championship during our lifetime.

God only knows what they discuss at CockNation!!

Most recently, losing Mark Smith.

"Truthfully, it was just a lot more speed, but it was pretty easy to me," he said. "I'm dead serious. A lot of people might think I'm crazy, but it was easy. It was just a high tempo. It helped you to perform at a higher level. That's all it was. It just brought the best out in you because you were playing against the best. It was easy for me. I just took another step forward. That's it. It was just easy for me. I just got quicker. That's it."

the more I hear from this kid, the more Im happy that he'll be playing for SOS jr
