Ok...so he chose South Carolina. Let's move on.
However, do not be fooled. He was a recruit that UT wanted. I mean after all they did send the house to meet with him: Drayton, Reaves, Hamilton and Kiffin. And he was Kiffin's first recruiting call for UT - Kiffin thought of him as a Reggie Bush clone. He would have been a big part of this offense even with those in front of him.
He was an important recruit - but you can't win them all.
On to the next one...
Stars mean nothing!!!!!
But...based on scout.com
Oku #6 rb
Williams #30 rb
Thigpen # 34 rb
GILES #35 rb
Correct me if I'm wrong, but 6, 30, and 34 are less than 35???? If that is wrong, I stand corrected!
He's right technically on one part... Giles is listed as an athlete...the #2 athlete behind Oku - but he will likely be playing RB... but he will also compete to return kicks and stuff... he's behind in the 'RB' position.

Leave before you get trampled.
Don't worry we have the guy ranked ahead of him.
We just thought he wanted to go somewhere to win something...unlike anything South Carolina has ever done.
Go away before you get crushed. Esp. if you are a USClite fan. They tend to look pretty stupid at the end of the day after posting here. Ask ihateorange.
No.
Sour grapes already? You guys sure negatively recruited him there towards the end.
Speaking of winning, where did UT land in the conference this year?
Couldn't feel nearly as bad as your 2008 season.
27-6 :dance2:
After reading this, I don't think Giles is sure of his decision. What do you guys think?
Giles takes 'gamble' with South Carolina; Drayton's uncertain future played role : Football Recruiting : GoVolsXtra.com
The 6-foot, 185-pounder from Gaither High School in Tampa, Fla., said he was also concerned that Kiffin was taking too long to commit to retaining running backs coach Stan Drayton on UT’s reassembled staff.
“For them to say they’re still evaluating him,” Giles said, “that’s a no brainer (to bring him back).”
Well - hopefully Kiffin will atleast get rid of Drayton now.
