Jarvis Giles

I guess you didn't read my next to last post. I just made a point how UT fans are caught up in there history in the 90s and early 00's.

How so?

We played the national champs within a touchdown in the SEC Championship Game LAST SEASON.

It doesn't get much more recent than that.

When was the last time USClite played for the title?

You have one conference title in your history (1969).

Your all time record is 500.

Spurrier's best record is 8-5.

Oh how it must feel to have back-to-back coaches with national titles but they can't win their own division much less conference.

Spurrier is still Spurrier. UT has a different coach than they did during the "glory days".

and you have a different coach than in your........ wait, do you guys have glory days? I guess for you guys this year would be the glory days. You beat UT and Vander.... wait, no you didn't. Well at least last year you beat Vanderb...... wait, no you didn't. Hmmmmm.

I really don't think SC has much to be proud of when you beat us in the same years we lost to Vandy and Wyoming.

Heck, winning is always better than losing, especially considering the history between UT and SC...

So what you're saying is that you feel that Spurrier is still a great coach despite the fact that he has lost at least 5 games every year he has coached at your school, has never even come close to winning anything significant while at your school and hasn't brought anything even remotely similar to the offense he had at UF to your school?

So if the facts say that he has been mediocre at USCe but you still contend that he is a great coach then that begs the question...what are you basing that opinion on?

Answer....you are obviously basing your opinion of him on past accomplishments...

But wait....according to you the past is irrelevant...

Earlier in this thread you had a similar stance about the number of players UT has put in the NFL as compared to USCe....at first you claimed Giles would have a better chance of making the league at USCe but then when you were shown actual facts about how ignorant that statement was you started to say that the number of pros from UT vs. the number of pros from USCe was irrelevant...

Summary...you spout of ignorance and then dance around it when you're called on it...that has been your consistent pattern of behavior since you started posting on here

Not if you don't want to talk about what happened in the 90's.

Without his name he just another coach at USClite with a .571 winning percentage.

Well-stated, Blamie.

This guy has enough intellectual impairment to qualify as a bammer.

He has been owned 117 times in this thread alone :)

I am no Rhode Schollar but I love when he posts because it makes me feel like Socrates.
