Maybe I have my timeline screwed up, but didn't Kiffin deny it after Hyams reported it?
The reason he isn't admitting for sure is because that would mean they let an underage kid in...pretty sure that is a no-no.
But he still let him in, right? Not really following.
Good Lord. If all he was doing was drinking a beer then what's the big deal? We all know it's against the law, but so is a lot of things that we all do or have done. We are such a nation of hypocrites. We scoff at something like this, but we will go to, buy, or rent movies that glorify underage drinking. Has anyone ever seen American Pie or Superbad? Hello! Of course... most everyone here has. Who here has never drank an alcoholic beverage before they turned 21? Thank God I didn't live under a microscope when I was in college. I would have been in the news every week.
If you are under 21, you are not allowed into an establishment that permits smoking. The Tin Roof does not permit smoking. Because Janzen was 18, he was allowed in as it's just a bar.
His being in the Tin Roof was completely legal. Drinking was against the law, but that wasn't on the bouncer. That was on a combination of the bartender and server.
Monterey, is your friend pretty reliable and is he sure he heard Kiffin deny the JJ allegations? That's the nail in the coffin, just want to know how far we can drive it. I wasn't listening to the radio. Thanks.
