not a franklin tea bagger at all..just want to compete for an SEC championship..I honestly feel we could go 6-6 with most of the posters here as HC..I remember a few yrs ago that UT was 3-1 vs. Shula..and when Saban took over the cupboard was so bare that Ala had how many players selected in the 2008 NFL draft? NONE!!!! its not the losing that bothers me..its the lack of competing..every loss in the SEC has been double digits..goin to the Music City Bowl obviously excites many UT fans but I remember the days when we were a top 10 program and why not have those same expectations again!
Georgia?
Also, seriously, injuries. They're a thing. This is a more snakebit team than the 2002 team, which lost by three scores to Florida, Alabama, and Miami.
They are playing Kentucky. Enough said.
He is just speaking the truth. Here is the fair question, what would Franklins record be a at TN this year at this point? That is a fair question. As a TN fan for all my life I want the vols to win as many as they have the ability to win each year. In other words maximize the results you can have with what you have. Franklin does that. Can you say that about Dooley right now? I hope it changes and maybe it will, but will Dooley maxmize your results.
Vandy will beat Tennessee this year. Unfortunately.
I wish we had James Franklin as our coach because he seems to me to be a much better coach than Doo-little.
If he can win and go to a bowl at Vandy and have them in the Top 25 in recruiting (they are #25 on Rivals last I checked) then there is no telling what he could do with us. If Doo-little flubs up next year, then we should go after Franklin if some other team hasn't already hired him away from Vandy.
