Which begs the question, “What is really driving the decision to fire him?” What “Cause” does PSU have? I doubt this is a termination for convenience. Something smells here. That said, so long Jimmy. If I recall, you once said something about burgers and McDonalds - maybe they could use your help. GBO.

Shhh...trying to get the rumor started.

Seriously kind of surprising they let go of him at this point in the season, but I suspect there may also be off-the-field/locker room issues that may be a contributor to the poor play.

I don’t. Watch his post game press conference yesterday…. He sounded completely checked out. Because not only did they fall so fast but his QB got lost for the season.

Pretty sure they might be a tad reluctant to hitch their wagon to another vandy head coach. Not saying he isn't a solid coach, but it might be a bit too soon for another go down that road.

Cause? Cause he has lost to UCLA and Northwestern and his team appears to have quit on him? Or just...well...cause they felt like it?

The thing for Franklin is if he wants to keep coaching. Because I think he will have demand but yesterday his press conference might as well been a funeral. He would prolly be better off taking a year break. Lord knows he can afford it

I could see Beamer reading the writing on the wall and leaving for VT after the season knowing he is on the verge of being fired from SC.

I suppose it's kinda gonna depend on what financial terms Franklin is going to want. If he is open to coaching for a "reasonable" salary then yeah he may get a few bites. He expects anything close to what PSU was paying him for the $10 million he quoted us-he will be sitting at home.

So glad we did not hire that tool

I believe that was part of the recent changes to the portal wasn't it? Whatever changes they made last week anyway. Not sure when that takes effect thoug

Portal opens for programs changing HC like a week after the new HC is hired or something
