15 years ago, the girls were one of 4 women’s teams that broke even or turned a profit nationwide. Meaning EVERY other team had to use AD money to subsidize due to T9 regulations. This women’s basketball team is the most successful program in the history of this University. Whatever Spyre is giving them is not a drain on football.

So the problem wasn't Mark Richt or the offense, it was Willie Martinez? Yall need to stop. It serves no purpose. Half of the fans don't even know what positions the coaches coach. Looking at the Georgia Defense from 2005-2009, and it was a bunch of guys that no one remembers. They just didn't have the talent. Talent will always make coaches appear better than they are. The defensive coaches have done a good job given the limitations we have on the back end.

He sucks regardless. That's not a narrative that's a fact. One of the worst things that has happened to Tennessee is when UGA fired him as DC. We beat Georgia more in the 5 years he was their DC than we have in the 15 years since scoring 51, 35 and 45 in our 3 wins against him. Maybe Thomas knows Willie's corners won't be helping him any. Guy is a C minus football coach that always seems to find a too loyal for his own good head coach like Heupel or Mark Richt to leech onto.

Yeah, I understand that Richt was essentially made to fire him because objectively he should have been fired 2 or 3 years prior. His tenure was the beginning of the end for Richt. Maybe Danny will force Heupel's hand on Willie soon though at least the damage is less to us because he is only a secondary coach and not DC.

The last defense Martinez coached at Georgia, the one he got fired for, had Justin Houston on it who played for the Chiefs and had over 100 career NFL sacks (4 pro bowls). We hung 45 on them with Jonathan Crompton at QB. They had Geno Atkins too, who made 8 pro bowls.

We will be lucky to win 5 games this year. Something’s wrong on the hill for all the players transferring and a big d-lineman saying so long yesterday. We can’t get anyone to transfer to UT but sure are a lot of guys leaving. You guys may have your heads under the sand but I think we may be in for a terrible season in 2025. The knock on CH in the beginning was he couldn’t recruit. Maybe his time has passed here at UT. Go ahead and have your orange shades on but the proofs in the pudding. It’s not looking good around K-town.
