The guy is 21... His future is in the hands of these coaches.. Would you not be equally as pissed? An apology and some bleachers work once a new coach is hired will be enough IMO. The clown show needs to pile into their volkswagon and peddle off to the next show somewhere else.
Sorry, Ape. It is a big deal. Cant show up your superiors in a video for the world to see. Allowing this behavior just gives a free pass for any player to act in any manner they see fit.
But I would be happier to see some other form of punishment in a selfish way.
Since you seem to be all about dismissing JJ, let's play a game here, what would happen if say our top players all decided to do the same thing tomorrow that JJ did tonight?
Say JG and JK and TC and TS and any other top player we have do this in support of JJ, you going to dismiss them as well?
So far the only time JJ has gotten in trouble is when he got caught with pot, since then not a peep about him getting into any trouble, no rumors, nothing, but apparently this is enough to dismiss him? Should just suspend him for the game and that be it.
Another black eye for this program from this POS staff
stfu. Jennings was tired of this garbage coaching staff
Social media is going to be the downfall of us all.
Jennings is a great player and an absolute dog. He plays with heart and emotion. He makes a video and he is gone. Common maaaan. This is terrible.
Let the new coaching staff handle this. What a complete waste of a season. Can it get any worse???
Oh, no im not. I would dismiss him based on the video alone.
We also know he was arrested for MJ, which personally, i could care less about. Also, the timeline here should show that the video is a reaction to bring dismissed, but i dont know that for sure.
One things for sure, i would have a very difficult time siding with someone conducting themselves the way JJ did.
And some of todays youth are snowflakes and cry when they get yelled at by a coach or dont get what they want.
Regardless of how good the player is, who is coaching, what the situation is, or the state of your program you do not act like that publically especially when we are about to rebuild a program yet again.
Did he practice this week after doctors gave him the green light? Then at practice he didn't perform at game level and coaches said he would not play. So get pissed and packed up got on I40 drove west to Murfreesboro and left them team thinking there would be reprocussions. But, after IHC and AD talked they decided to cut him loose. Then he made the video....just saying.Raise your hand if you know what Jauan did in the hours and days PRIOR to making that video.

Fact is, we don't know why he was dismissed from the team.
Since we don't know why he was dismissed, how can any of us second-guess the decision?
Anyone?
So to you, conducting yourself in that manner is not only acceptable, but should be encouraged? Interesting.
You really see this as a freedom of speech issue? You are aware that only applies to the governnent taking you to jail right? Noone is saying he didn't have the right to say it, but there are consequences. Hopefully he learns that its not acceptable. But judging by all the adults taking up for it, im not sure he will.
He was never a primadonna. Put just as much effort blocking for the tailbacks as he did trying to catch passes. He played his ass off and never sulked while he was here. Should be considered.
Al Wilson would be kicked off the team..Because thats totally what I said. These are kids, he made a video filled with profanity and blasted a terrible coaching staff. He couldve handled it a bit better but dismissal is a touch much imo.
Lots of folks here would be shocked by some of the players we had in the 90s. You have to have alpha males if you want to win.
