Any coach that we’d want, wouldn’t tolerate JJ’s behavior. A spineless apologetic mid-major coach will snap him up.

His future isn't ruined. He can transfer (if medical redshirted) or perhaps even be reinstated. I have also raised children and kids need to learn boundaries and consequences. We do not know the entire story, so there may have been other issues leading to the dismissal.

If you watch the video, how can JJ not get dismissed? He didn’t just post a cryptic tweet, he berated the staff with A looooooot of bleeps, multiple N words word dropped. Just overall not a good look. Now, as a fan I can understand his frustration and I totally get it. F*** this coaching stuff and F*** Currie if he hires another loser ass Google coach, but from an AD’s perspective that type of behavior can’t be allowed.

Of course not. He’s an adult and knows the consequences of his actions. Because a coach behaves like a juvenile doesn’t give carte blanche to do so to everyone else around him. They both represent the University, Jennings video qualifies as more than enough to dismiss him.

Somebody tells ballfannbama that another man is the boss of him, or above him in station, and that's all it takes. He will defend that superior till his death.

The whole Jennings situation is an indictment of the way the culture has been for the last 2 years. He hasn’t been a part of anything football-related since his injury. Nothing. And then he expected to play this weekend vs Vandy. Coaches said no and it all blew up from there.

It’s on the coaches to make sure he’s there throughout the season, and communicate effectively that if he’s not there, he’ll have no place on the team going forward. That never came from Butch. Didn’t have the stones to have that conversation.

But ultimately it’s on Jauan, and I don’t think any of us are shocked at this. He’s a man and, even though he’s suffered from a lack of leadership, he will suffer the consequences and it’s a shame all around.

In with the new coaches and in with some actual leaders of men.

I think your reasoning for being upset is a little misguided. It also looks like Jennings misjudged the position of the interim.

Hopefully, they give him another shot to redeem himself.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.

I just saw the video, not sure they had much choice but to toss his dumb arse. Hopefully we can get him back in the spring if he hasn't already enrolled at MTSU.

Hoke the Joke strikes again... hope he is long gone from UT after the game.. wouldn't hire him to wash the jock straps
