7 years is long enough. She is destroying the legacy of The Lady Vols. Come on coach & Ad Fulmer pull the plug before the lady's drop to where the football team did. The Lady's deserve better and so do the fans.
You have to make a move to end this now !

It surprises me that she hasn't learned from CPF's story. He could/should have retired after the '98 season and gone out a revered legend. I'm not saying he isn't loved and appreciated now, but his stubbornness and refusal to step out of the way cost him so much hurt that could have been avoided. CHW needs to learn from the past or she is doomed to repeat it. Lady Vol fans can't take much more.

But it's not her fault at ALL!

Its just that her players are "uninspired & uninterested."

I know people like that, who have never ever taken responsibility for anything (even under their control) that has gone wrong.

How did I know with a heading of "Its Time" that it was about HW?

Exactly, but her players being "uninspired and uninterested" says a lot about her as well. With her making comments like that and having no solutions, they will continue to be uninspired. Good coaches know how to motivate, and I think these players even though they adore Holly Warlick, have lost total confidence in her ability to coach this team successfully. Every time the LV's lose we will rehash her incompetence.

In poking around the different social media outlets, I saw that there are many fans who still believe that Holly is a good coach and that the players are at fault for the program's problems. This year it's mostly because of having "so many freshmen and sophomores," but the double-whammy is that those players are, apparently, "uninspired and don't care" like players USED to care.

I guess they've already forgotten that last year we had two seniors who went on to be drafted into the WNBA in Nared and Russell, senior Kortney Dunbar, junior Meme Jackson, redshirt-junior Cheridene Green and several much-ballyhooed McDonald's All-American freshmen -- yet the very SAME breakdowns occurred. The same breakdowns that are occurring now that have occurred nearly every year of Holly's tenure. The players change, but the identical issues re-surface year after year.

So, what is the real problem? Seems obvious to me, but I find myself wondering if the people who are still convinced that Holly is a terrific coach will still feel that way if these same issues are occurring, say, 5 years from now. Will they admit it then? Or will it take longer... say, 10 more years of the same issues for them to admit that maybe it's not the players? Would it take 20 years for some people to admit that the same identical issues coming up over and over and over and over again, year after year after year after year, just may indicate a breakdown at the TOP? Will some people NEVER admit it, even if the same problems occurred for 25 more years?

What will be the threshold for Holly's true believers? Is there one???????????

I am very very sad that the LV program has sunk to this level. There is no leadership, many players are just going through the motions, defense is non existent. Notre Dame, Mississippi State and now Texas A&M have humiliated us. There will always be excuses, but something HAS to be done. Who could we get-how about Shea Ralph. She would bring an aggressive attitude to the program and light a fire under some players and would certainly bring a different attitude with all the players. I'm very tired of those who defend CHW. Promote her, let her get her pension and get someone who can get this program turned around.

I find Holly defenders REALLY hard to find in my real life. Probably should upgrade my social circle LOL. Even those I encounter who know or care little about the program think she needs to go.

I felt she should go a couple of years ago and feel really badly for her. The difference for me this year is I feel the boat has taken on so much water I don't care if a replacement is lined up. We need change so badly even the next bad coach will move us along.

Also the AD is incredibly remiss if he has not been thinking and contingency planning new coach for a couple of years. I know what he could do is limited but amidst the gathering storm he should have been laying some emergency groundwork. Bet he has.

It's almost time to wake up Davis...Tell her she has a game in less than 48 hours.......She has to be the most less interested player on the team...

I just want to thank the OP for finally calling this to everyone's attention. No one else has had the intestinal fortitude to start a fire Holly thread.
THANKS!!
