Me too. Miles is the logical Fulmer choice. But like I said, he needs an all star cast of dynamic coaches/recruiters around him. Tennessee is a very different place from LSU. Louisiana is extremely talent rich and they all dream of playing for the Tigers. Here its a totally different way of recruiting.

You just need someone who can control the press and Miles is gold in that area. Let Steele (who knows Miles well) run the defense and Tee get settled back into Knoxville. If you want Tee home, make it easier on him for the first two or three years. Poor guy will get eaten alive by our crazy press.

They loved the mad hatter until the last year or so. He will need a QB coach specifically. Remember Les has BIG 🏀🏈 when it comes to late game calls. He screwed one up and the fans didn't like it

Thats not true at all, yes they had the fire the coach crowd as does every big time program but everyone loved les and still does. the last two years a lot of people was ready for change but everyone loves the man.

Taking a page out of the Gruden thread.
My sources say Miles to UT is a done deal. MOU is signed. Budget for assistants has been worked out.

Funny you mention that. I have a regular group that gets together every couple of weeks for a poker night. One of them is a mid level booster who has really good connections with some of the whales and a few guys inside the AD.

Last night he dropped the dime on the Miles situation after having a few liquor drinks.

Aw hell, never mind. Wrong thread.

Not so fast...Schiano may well file a Defamation of Character lawsuit saying Tennessee's failure to honor a verbal MOU leading to false acquisitions about what he knew or didn't know about Jerry Sandusky's actions at PSU cost him millions in salary and hurt his chances to get another HC position at another school. UT would probably have to settle out of court and drop another couple of million.

The university did none of that. Not sure the university can be held responsible for the actions of some of the yahoos in our fanbase.
