It's happening [Dark Mode]

you realize Tennessee had black outline patterns…….right?

P-ST does all white…….it’s not their uniforms but it’s OK……because it’s “part” of their color?

Florida has done some crazy alt stuff……but again……part of their colors so it’s OK?

LSU…….color changing helmets……it’s OK?

Tennessee can’t wear black?………but black has been part of their uniform going back for a long time…….. not full black shirts……but “part” of it.

If you don’t like it that’s cool……..but don’t try to make out like Tennessee is somehow “lowly” for doing this.

No problem with Penn State white uniforms just like I don't have a problem with our white uniforms......PSU official colors....Blue and White....UT official colors...orange and white...since 1891

Freak, delete if already posted. Vols players reaction to finding they will sport black unis this weekend. Naysayers, tradition IS IMPORTANT, but the game is about the players too.

Exactly. This is about the players, not a bunch of whiney ass old dudes on a fan forum. Get over it Karens. P.S. they look amazing!

I don't feel like scrolling through the pages today...

Is it official which game we are wearing the black unis?

If it's uscjr...that is an opportunity wasted in a monumental way...

Can you imagine the hype after we destroy Carolina going into a night game for a BLACK OUT! You want to see Neyland filled? That's the way!

It only works if it is a night game. Would like kind of weak for a noon kickoff on SEC Network.

Nope. They have red on the legs and orange face masks. Nice try though. Again, the players are excited so that’s all that matters. And it generates revenue for local vendors and the program. But you keep up the hate
If your eyesight is so bad you think the facemasks in that picture are orange, a trip to the optometrist is needed.

Look just like this.
As disjointed as our white helmets look with black jerseys, they don’t hold a candle to that. The pants stripe, jersey numbers and helmet decal all look different. Orange is a tough color to match, but come on.

There's nothing wrong with change if it's an improvement and that's why I dislike this change. To me there isn't a uniform out there as beautiful as our traditional home uniform....orange jersey and white pants.

Call it anything you want but the multi-uniform craze is a gimmick that can be traced back to Phil Knight, the founder of Nike, who has given more than $1 Billion (yes, that's a B) to the University of Oregon. He started this uniform war as a way to enhance Oregon football recruiting and it has paid off. When you have an extra few hundred million dollars to spend and that's what it takes I guess it's OK. But Oregon is the most disliked team on the west coast, in part because of this.

From the referenced site:

"The history of the Duck’s paradigm-shifting uniforms can be traced back to 1996, when Nike co-founder Phil Knight began a partnership with the Ducks in an effort to better attract future players to the team."

A brief history of Oregon uniforms

I was sorta concerned about the black uni's with the white helmet, but the black trim on the helmet makes it work!!!
If I’m the quarterback I wanna keep the white helmet because that’s my aiming point. I need to keep some thing that is consistent so I can hit the receivers.

I didn’t blow up the thumbnail and yes I’m old but hey, at least I didn’t miss the GIANT red stripe on the pants. You keep up the hate.
