I am listening to local sports talk radio 640 AM. They have so much stuff going on around this place it is going to be epic!! I have lived in this area all my life, and Bristol does it right they go all out for anything that they do.

Just hit the road heading in from GA. Going to watch some hometown high school football tonight in Kingsport then get to Bristol early tomorrow!

Is Tennessee tailgating in All American and Virgina Tech in Earnhardt Campgrounds...Thats just what ive heard from my people,didnt know if anything official had been said..Im sure there will be partying everywhere,but i think that was the plan..

My stomach is starting to knot up a little thinking about tomorrow. I keep telling myself that offensive offense I saw last week was just a fluke but there is doubt in my mind I won't lie

We can't embarrass ourselves on the stage we got tomorrow night. V Tech is a decent team but there isn't a good reason for us not to handle those Original Recipe boys.

I think we win by two scores but I also think we could easily s**t the bed too.

How's yalls nerves right now, and please feel free to call me chicken little or a sissy sumb*tch and tell me how we're going to roll tomorrow. Put my mind and intestines at ease Nation :)

Nerves are fine. Won't be embarrassed either way. Win or lose, I don't get a check, and I still gotta go to work Monday morning.

Your a chicken little sumb*tch! But guess I am too. After watching that game our guys didn't show up to its hard not to be concearned.

On the positive, worry or not, won't make any diff on the final score so might as well enjoy the festivities and shattering the most crazy folks to ever watch a game.

Flew into Asheville from FL this morning met by our friends and treated to a nice lunch at Omni Grove Park Inn.. Headed over the hills and now just arrived Johnson City! Other friends driving in from up north later tonight. Can't believe it is finally here!

But...gotta be honest, I really, really dread dealing with the crowd and the traffic...been to many a race there, and it can be brutal.

I still haven't decided if I'm going or not. I need to decide, I was planning on leaving for Knoxville no later than 4. I would be riding a bus from Knoxville but still having to wait in traffic on way home, is one of reasons I'm still up in the air. Also, I am afraid I won't be able to see much. It looks so far away. It would be like sitting on Thompson-Boling and watching a game in Neyland Stadium.

That's what kept me from going! People have called all week begging me and my wife to go but I believe I'll watch it on TV where I can see EVERYTHING and have drinks in the fridge and not have to wait in line to get them and food on the grill and when the game is over, I can go straight to bed and not have to wait for HOURS!
